Over the last several days since AEW Collision aired and CM Punk made comments off the air (which naturally landed online) about Hangman Page, there's been a discourse about talents being sent home from Collision due to Punk.
One story is that Hangman Page was sent home this past Saturday. He lives locally in the Greensboro area, so I don't believe he was "sent" home. We are told that there was a promo that was to be shot but it wasn't to be shot at the arena. The Punk comments obviously fed into the Hangman story. The word making the rounds is that Punk felt badly about the comments after the fact - that has made the rounds in AEW, although we don't know whether the two have spoken.
Based on comments Punk made about being "rocked" on the mic, it may be that he may have dinged himself, although no one has confirmed that. Looking at some of the fna-shot footage, it did appear that Punk had a bruise on his head.
In regards to a Fightful.com story that Ryan Nemeth was sent home, PWInsider.com has confirmed that was accurate as he was told by AEW VP Pat Buck to head home shortly after he arrived. The story making the rounds was that in the rotation of talents used, he was booked for Collision and the decision was made due to a previous issue with something he tweeted about Punk that he should instead just work Wednesdays as AEW is trying to keep the locker rooms drama-free. One source on the Nemeth side believed that the two sides didn't have heat anymore after Punk had spoken to him previously.
Another name making the rounds is Christopher Daniels, who has been working Wednesdays behind the scenes but has appeared on ROH tapings before Collision broadcasts. It should be noted that at this point, most of the Coaches have been working one show or the other, although there have been some exceptions. It may be that Daniels has been kept off the "Punk show" since he was involved in the entire situation last year with The Elite and Punk backstage after All Out 2022. With Ace Steel not being allowed to be backstage, it may be that the decision was made to keep Daniels exclusively on Wednesdays since he would obviously be closer with the Elite side vs. The Punk side.
Unfortunately, a lot of this is fallout from what happened last year and unless and until everyone sits down and gets on the same page, these are the sort of things that will continue to bubble up within the AEW locker room. It's not going to stop unless someone puts an end to it.
