As noted earlier, AEW's Brian Cage missed Lucha Libre AAA's Triplemania XXXI: Mexico City last night.
Today, he took to Twitter (aka X) to explain the absence, noting he was in an emergency room, but did not explain why:
For those who have asked or hoped to see me at #TriplemaniaXXXI last night, here's why I wasn't there. I'm gonna be just fine. Only sidelined very briefly, I'll be gtg next week! pic.twitter.com/2K61gNqR9m

On the English language commentary last night, it was noted Cage wasn't "cleared" after a recent AEW bout against Darby Allin, but that could have just been a storyline explanation for his absence.
