Well, perhaps it should have been an episode of MTV's old Celebrity Death Match series, all along.
After agreening several months ago to fight inside a cage, two of the world's most successful (and in some circles, disliked) technology gurus, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg won't be going toe to toe.
Several months back, Musk stated online he was ready to fight the Facebook founder, to which Zuckerberg responded he was willing to fight the Tesla and Twitter owner.
However, today, Zuckerberg wrote on Treads: "I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”
Elon Musk, apparently, is a Larry Zbyszko fan!
Stay tuned for updates, but my guess is there probably won't be any.
