'HEELS' NEWS AND NOTES

The Hollywood Reporter ran an excellent piece on Heels star Kelli Berglund, who plays Crystal on the series and has been nothing short of fantastic on the series.

Greg Oliver of Slam! Wrestling also recently published a great piece on the daughter of the legendary Dick Steinborn and how working on Heels helped set the stage for her to come to terms with Steinborn being her father and emotionally healing.

IndieWire.com featured a piece on Luke Hawx and his work training and preparing Heels' actors for the series.

Heels returns this Friday on STARZ with the following plot - "Ace returns to Duffy determined to leave the DWL and wrestling behind; Crystal worries about her first women's division bout; as things with her and Bobby-Pin start heating up, Jack contends with a still-smarting Gully."

On a personal note, It really is a shame the series was released in the midst of the SAG-AFTRA strike as the new season has been fantastic but unfortunately, doesn't seem to be picking up any steam, which doesn't bode well for a third season.  If you haven't watched, it's beyond well seeking out.
