Watching Dark Side of the Ring- which I love. Wondering how they’re able to use WWF/WCW/ECW etc. footage on their episodes? I noticed that they make it look grainy or whatever but just curious if you knew how that stuff works? Surprised they haven’t gotten sued by now.
My belief is those clips fall under fair use, which allows documentaries to use snippets of material.

I know ratings system are a bit outdated but not seeing AEW with any growth is a bit troubling. Is the company in trouble staying in 800,000s? You may not when know.
It all depends on what Warner Bros. Discovery wants and feels. They have regularly pushed the success of the numbers, including pushing when AEW tops cable. If the broadcast partner is happy, that's all that matters, since the primary revenue comes from those rights. All we have heard from WBD sources is that they are happy with AEW and what it brings to their networks. Some have believed that the company will grab an existing option that will keep AEW there through the end of 2024, although nothing has been announced.
With the Dudleys reuniting for Impact, whatever happened to Spike, Chubby and Sign Guy?
Spike is retired and I believe lives in New England but has trained talents over the years Chubby I believe works in radio in the PA area and Sign Guy aka Lou D'Angeli works behind the scenes right now as an exec for Impact after working for a long time as a Cirque du Soliel exec. He was one of the major ECW success stories given he went from there to running major arenas and then working for WWE and Cirque.
Was Jade Cargill back with AEW? My friend swears he saw her this week in Columbus.
She was not on TV but we have heard from fans who saw her as well. It may be she was there to meet with AEW. We haven't heard any rumblings of her returning anytime soon.
