Bob Mulrenin, who for many years had been a fixture shooting photos around the world for Ringside Collectibles’ WrestlingFigs.com, passed away in November 2022 Brooklyn, NY after battling cancer from April of that year.

Bob had been working and shooting photos for Ringside Collectibles for years and even before that, was a well known face all over the country as he regularly shot at WWE, AEW, Impact Wrestling, independent events and conventions.

Bob had been shooting regularly since the days of WWF tapings in Allentown, PA in the late 1970s, so he witnessed and shot lots of historic moments.  In recent years, he was a big part of Paul Heyman's Heyman Hustle website as well.  He always had great stories and insights into the talents and events he shot as well as canvas prints wall art.

To say Bob was beloved in pro wrestling circles, especially among the women who work in the business, would be an extreme understatement.  He had been a trusted friend to many in the business and a photographer, was regularly requested to do women’s photo shoots for the Impact Wrestling locker room.  He was also an extremely trusted, close friend of The Road Warriors during their career, among many, many other talents, past and present.  Bob was also a great friend to me personally and this site.

After Wrestlemania 37 in Texas, Bob learned he was ill.  He immediately went into treatment but still refused to let it curtail his travel and photography schedule, continuing to cover WWE, AEW and Impact Wrestling events around his chemotherapy.  He was adamant that no matter what, he was going to live his life on his terms, and he did, especially when his travel took him back to his beloved Las Vegas.

In the month before his passing, he made trips to Vegas, Atlanta, Charlotte and lots of other cities for wrestling and beyond.  He refused to let cancer stop him and even had a trip to Japan booked for next month.  He fought to the end and did what he wanted with the time he had left.  I respect the hell out of that and there's a great lesson to be learned from his attitude and strength.

Bob took a fall in his home the weekend before he passed and was hospitalized shortly thereafter in Brooklyn, NY before moving to hospice.
