FIGHTT PRO - Enter the Fightt Round 8

It’s time to kick off the Division Playoffs!!!

We kick off the Shinobi Shadow Squad: Cheeseburger, Eli Isom & Ryan Mooney alllllll want a piece of the Privileged. They are TIRED of being ambushed. They are tired of the shenanigans. SSS is back together!

We hear some early news that both Breaux Keller and Janai Kai have had to forfeit their spots in the Playoffs. This is truly a loss to their respective tournaments. Moses was slated to get a bye to the Finals by being the #1 seed but instead he is stepping into Breaux’s spot to take on Matt Quay in a 1-on-1 rematch from last week’s Gauntlet!

We’re back in the Worldwide Dojo! Jason Heat and Pelle Primeau are on commentary. Let’s go!

Match 1: Rhett Titus vs Devantes (Hybrid Division Semi Final)

Would Rhett have stepped into this tournament had he been in the same spot as Moses? Rhett is ready to fight tonight though and admits he’s looking right past Devantes, all the way to Logan Easton Laroux. Devantes with some powerful shots but Rhett takes him right down. Titus is really handling Devantes early, twisting him around and grinding him down. He forces Devantes to kick out of various pin attempts, just getting him to wear himself out. Devantes tries to power out and Rhett takes him right over. Devantes with a huge right staggers Titus…Titus boots him and hits a high cross body. Another two! This is alllllll Rhett Titus….until Devantes catches a second cross body to a world’s strongest slam. Huge corner spear. Titus goes flying! The hoss is stomping hard. Huge bulldog for two. Devantes with a bear hug and tries to squeeze the life out of the Professional but the arm can’t hold it…Devantes tries an abdominal stretch…Rhett with a backslide…..knees and a belly to belly suplex stagger the hoss! Rhett aims as Devantes turns….DROPKICK KO!

Winner: Rhett Titus

Match 2: Busky Brawlers (Joe Keys & Eric Martin) vs The Goons (Myles Millennium & Killian McMurphy w/ Big Dust) (Tag Team Division Semi Final)

Jason Heat reminds us that the Goons have somehow secured a spot in the playoffs despite having never won a match in FIGHTT PRO since theeyyyyyyy drew the short straw last week. Joe Keys asks Eric Martin about how he used to be a Goon…he says that Martin can prove how much he’s grown by killing his former friends. The Goons are anything but serious and that seems to make Joe Keys a little worried. Killian keeps firing party poppers into Eric’s face. This is already madness. Eric comes running and is sent to the floor…another party popper! Martin is just having a bad night at the office, as the Goons are clearly in his head. Tag to Joe Keys and that advantage is OVER. Myles getting pummeled into the corners. Big Dust shoots Keys with a party popper and Myles almost snags the rollup! How this hasn’t gotten a warning is beyond me. This is VERY MUCH ref discretion….and Joe Keys picks up a warning for hair pulling. Martin tries to hit Killian with a party popper but pulls hair, gets a violation and accidentally shoots himself in the face. Double back elbow to Eric for two. Myles tries to rollup Keys after they pick up another violation for an illegal tag but Martin says hell no. Keys stares down Killian…one more party popper but he eat a lariat. Martin with a spear to Myles and a double team brain buster puts Myles away for the three. This was stupidly fun. This might be my FOTN.

Winners: Busky Brawlers

The Brawlers pull Big Dust into the ring and give him a beatdown…well, Keys is doing most of the damage since he’s the angry one of the bunch. Martin pulls up Dust and hits a piledriver. So much for friendship…Joe Keys is clearly feeling more confident in his partner now as the Goons peel their manager off the mat and slowly help him to the back.

Backstage with Rhett Titus -> He’s feeling a little worse off wear. He says he may have pulled something in his fight with Devantes….but he’s still ready to fight his way all the way to Logan Easton Laroux and get some payback for what he’s been doing to FIGHTT PRO.

Match 3: Harleen Lopez vs Tiny Tanaily (Grappers Division Semi Final)

Lopez doesn’t respect Tiny enough to say her name right in the face off….Tiny is ready to send her for a ride. Lopez hits a hard forearm but takes her eyes off the prize so she can taunt…no. Tiny with a trio of suplex and big slams. Lopez throwing suplexes and a clothesline. Lopez with a double knees into the corner and a cannonball! Butterfly suplex out of the corner! Harleen goes for a cross arm breaker but Tiny powers right up and tosses Lopez around again. Saito suplex! Northern lights, transition into a guillotine choke! Harleen fighting free. Tiny with a belly to belly slam…..She goes for a bow and arrow choke…Harleen fighting it but she goes to sleep and Tiny punches her ticket to the finals!

Winner: Tiny Tinaily

Match 4: The Tony's (Anthony Bennet & Toné Leyenda) vs Primal Fear (Gabriel Hodder & Matthew Omen) (Tag Team Division Semi Final)

Can the Tonys stay on the same page tonight and get to the finals? The face-off doesn’t give me much hope for synergy tonight. Leyenda is showing off early why he’s the blue chipped of FIGHTT PRO. Primal Fear gets Bennett down and Omen picks up a warning for punching in the face. Primal Fear keeping Bennett isolated, picking up another violation for hair pulling. Bennet stuns Hodder…tag to Leyenda! He destroys Omen and that should be it but Hodder lands an illegal kick to break up the pin. They are at their final violation….Bennett with a cross body! Leyenda with a sliced bread! Omen picked up and the Tonys hit a flying neck break powerbomb for the win! Leyenda is noticeably proud of Bennett’s performance and gives Toné a hug following the win. Leyenda is getting cheered and doesn’t quite know what to do with that.

Winners: The Tony’s

Backstage with the Goons. Big Dust is having his spine looked at after the attack earlier. Myles and Killian are furious and promise no more goofs. They are all business now and they are headed to Multi-Man Mayhem!

Main Event: Moses vs Matt Quay (Hybrid Division Semi Final)

Quay got KO’d by Moses in last week’s 10 Point Rush. He has a better shot at the win tonight…but I’m not holding my breathe for his chances. Rhett Titus is on commentary and Moses is giving him the stinkeye right away. Quay knows the headbutt is coming and he’s ready to run through the brick wall that is Moses. Moses says Quay has his respect for coming out here….but now he’s going to beat the hell out of him. Quay running in and trying to swing hard. Moses goes for the headbutt, whiff! Moses with a pop up snake eyes and a huge shoulder tackle. Quay is already winded as Moses slams him hard to the mat. Quay with a chop and Moses unloads a retort for two. Hard whip to the corner as Moses cannot stop talking trash to Titus. Hard clubbing blows to the back. Moses dropping heavy hands to the chest and tries to wrench his neck off. Quay flips free of a hard body toss…he dodges a runaway Moses! High crossbody for one! Is this the first time we’ve seen Moses in ANY kind of trouble? Moses grabs a fireman’s carry and hits a falcon arrow variation, slamming Quay down for the win.

Winner: Moses

Moses is talking so much trash towards the commentary table that Rhett Titus takes off his shirt and heads into the ring to face off with his opponent in the Finals next week. Cue Logan Easton Laroux’s music. Logan promises that neither man is going to get their hands on him….he tries to explain that further but he’s blindsided by LSG! Dawg Nation runs in to beat on LSG. Shinobi Shadow Squad hit the ring to fight the Privileged. We have a huge brawl in and around the ring….but Moses and Titus don’t budge and continue staring down as we fade to black.

Backstage, we have Prince Nana talking to LSG. Nana says LSG has been a thorn in his side & wants to know why he should reinstate him. LSG says they share a common enemy in Logan Easton Laroux…Nana laughs and not only reinstates LSG….but makes him a Premier Contender! Looks like Logan has one more fight to go before the finals!

Really good episode this week. Every match was super enjoyable. Good stories told in every match. The final face down through a brawl was a NICE touch. I was right though and I have to give FOTN honors to that ridiculous showing from the Goons, in their attempt to clown their way to the finals. Next week, Rhett and Moses finally clash! Until then!
