ACTOR PAUL REUBENS AKA PEE WEE HERMAN PASSES AWAY

Actor Paul Reubens who will be eternally remembered for his stage, film and television character Pee Wee Herman passed away at the age of 70 following a battle with cancer, it was announced this afternoon.  Reubens was 70 years old.

Reubens, as Pee Wee, made several appearances for WWE including hosting a November 2010 episode of Monday Night Raw at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY and a cameo backstage at Wrestlemania 27 in Phoenix, Arizona.

As Herman, Reubens also "won" a  Slammy Award for Guest Star Shining Moment of the Year in 2010 for his Raw appearance.
