WOW EPISODE 46 RECAP

Episode 46: When Opportunity Knocks

Robbie Rocket and Gigi Gianni vs The Tonga Twins (Kaoz and Kona)

Gigi and Kaoz go face to face, and when they lock up, Kaoz shoves her back to her corner. Robbie tags in and Kaoz does the same thing. Gigi tags back in and Gigi grabs a wrist and starts stomping on her feet. Robbie is tagged in and Kona is tagged in, and Tonga twins hits Robbie with a double back drop. Gigi drags Robbie to her corner for the tag, but the Tonga twins grab her for a double slam. 

Kaoz covers for two, broken up by Robbie. Gigi hiatus a chop block and they start working over Kaoz. Kaoz is kept in the ring with quick tags. Kaoz is able to get free with a double spear on both Gigi and Robbie before getting the hot tag. Kona cleans house, ending with an ura nagi on Robbie and tags in Kaoz. They hit stereos hip attacks and Gigi is tossed to the floor. Robbie gets hit with the Tonga twist and Kaoz covers for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Tonga Twins

The Tonga Twins say that they will keep climbing the ladder one tag team at a time until they beat Miami Sweet Heat.

We get a video package hyping the main event of Team Spirit vs Miami Sweet Heat for the Tag Team Titles

We get a confrontation of BK Rhythm and Foxxy Fierce confronting each other in the locker room before their match.

BK Rhythm vs Foxxy Fierce

They lock up and BK grabs an arm bar that Foxxy reverses. BK reverses again and Foxxy goes to the ropes for another reversal and then an arm bar takeover. Foxxy grabs a crucifix pin for two and then takes down BK with an arm drag. She hits a hip attack and follows with a cross body on BK for two. BK fights back with a kick and then works Foxxy over in the corner. BK gets a gut buster.

BK hits a suplex and then a running knee for two. BK whips Foxxy to the corner, and then charges, but Foxxy goes up and over, following with another hip attack. BK is put on the top and BK kicks Foxxy down and follows with the Driver Time slam for the pin and the win.

Winner: BK Rhythm

We get a video package of the feud between Samantha Smart and her team vs Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag. We are reminded that they owe Sophia Lopez, the World’s Greatest Attorney a favor. 

Holidead and Siren vs Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag

Betty and Siren start the match, and they lock up with Siren getting a side headlock. Betty fights out and tosses her to the corner. She charges into Siren and tags in Swag. Betty hits a straight jacket on Siren as she gets out of the ring. Siren makes it to her corner to tag in Holidead.  Swag tries for an arm drag, but Holidead blocks it. Swag gets a front facelock and tries for a spinning DDT, but Holidead blocks it as well. 

Swag is able to drop Holidead into the ropes and gets a leap for double knees into Holidead back. She follows up with double knees again, slamming Holidead face-first into the mat. Swag covers for two. Holidead is able to pick up Swag and run her into the corner. Holidead picks up Swag in a fireman’s carry and slams her head into the turnbuckle repeatedly before tagging in Siren. 

Holidead hits a back breaker on Swag and Siren hits a senton, then a Northern lights suplex for two. Holidead tags in and they work Swag over in the corner with quick tags. Swag is able to get a DDT on Siren for the hot tag.  Betty cleans house and her flurry ends with a Russian leg sweep into a pin, broken up by Holidead. Swag runs in to go after Holidead, but Holidead hits her with a spinebuster, and Swag rolls out of the ring.

Holidead holds Betty for Siren to attack, but Betty ducks down so that Siren takes out Holidead. Betty hits a stunner on Siren for the pin and the win.

Winner: Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag

After the match, Swag says they already beat Miami Sweet Heat once, they deserve a title shot. 

We get a video from Miami Sweet Heat making fun of Team Spirit. In the locker room, Randi Rah Rah and Ariel Sky are talking about their poses. Coach Campanelli comes in and reminds them to listen to her, and to do whatever it takes to win. They put their hands in and while Randi and Ariel say go team, Coach says “Go Coach!”

Miami Sweet Heat (Lindsey and Laurie Carlson) WOW Tag Team Champions vs Team Spirit Randi Rah Rah and Ariel Sky

Heat attacks from behind before the bell. They separate to opposite corners to whip Randi and Sky into each other, but instead, they cartwheel into attacking Heat. Heat takes over again and lays in the boots on Team Spirit in the corners. Randi is being double-teamed, but she gets away and tags in Sky as Lindsey stays in the ring and Laurie goes to the apron. 

They lock up and Lindsey whips Sky into the corner.; Sky goes up and over as Lindsey charges, and the backflips across the ring to hit a running shoulder. Sky is whipped into the corner and goes for a head scissor takedown, but Lindsey turns it into a slam for two. Sky is kept in Miami Sweet Heat’s corner for quick tags. Randi breaks up a pin after Laurie hits a Vader bomb and they go back to work on Sky.

Sky tries for a flying cross body on both of Heat’s members, and Laurie is able to grab her for a slam.  As Sky is on the apron, Coach gives her some assistance. Sky gets a quick tag and Randi tries for a flying cross body and is slammed by Sweet Heat. Randi hits an insigiri and then a sling blade on Laurie. Randi hits a bronco buster and then a cannonball on Laurie in the corner. 

Lana Starr and Coach start jacking jaws on the outside as Sweet Heat hits the Heat Wave finisher on Randi for the pin and the win.
