PURE TITLE BOUT SET UP, TV CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TOURNAMENT, KINGDOM VS. RHETT & HOT SAUCE AND MORE: ROH RECAP

Last night's Ring of Honor on WATCHROH.com saw the promotion announce a tournament for the next ROH TV Championship match against defending champion Samoa Joe.  After the tournament was revealed by Stokely Hathaway, the following bouts were held:

*Christopher Daniels pinned JD Drake.
*Tony Nese pinned Cheeseburger.
*Gravity pinned Anthony Henry.
*Shane Taylor pinned Serpentico.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be held in the near future.  The semi-final bouts were not announced.

Josh Woods won a Pure Wrestling Rules bout over Eli Isom before Mark Sterling issued a challenge to ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata, who was ringside presiding over the bout as one of the Judges.  Shibata accepted, setting a championship match for next week's episode.

The Kingdom with Maria Kanellis defeated Rhett Titus & Tracy Williams in a really damn fun competitive bout.  Titus and Williams are not signed but certainly made a strong case here.

*ROH Six Man Tag Team Champions The Mogul Embassy defeated  The Iron Savages and Jacked Jameson.

*Leyla Hirsch defeated B3cca, who has been seen of late in MLW.

*The Renegade Twins defeated JC Storm & Tiara James.

*ROH Women’s Champion Athena defeated Christina Marie, once again shining by viciously beating her opponent all over.

*Big Bill & Lee Moriarty defeated Adrian Soriano & Gabriel Hodder.

*Dalton Castle & The Boys defeated The Trustbusters' Jeeves Kay & Slim J & Sonny Kiss.
