FIGHTT PRO - Round 7
7/25/23 - IWTV.live
It’s WILD CARD WEEK at FIGHTT PRO! After 6 weeks of competition, it’s time to see who from the middle/back of each division can jump forward and lock in their spot in their respective playoffs! Prince Nana opens up the show and it RIGHT UP on the camera. He announces that Breaux Keller has been attacked and will not be in competition this week. This might be okay since he inherited that #2 spot from Logan last week. Nana also admits that he IS in a business partnership with Logan Easton Laroux…but that he expected his assistant Ernie Osiris to do the right thing while Nana was away. Nana takes the blame for the chaos of the last couple of weeks, as the boss, but it sure seems like he hit Ernie with that bus a little bit too. All that said, he welcomes us to the FIGHTT. Jason Heat and Pelle Primeau are on commentary. Dominick Denero is announced as being out with injury. Savannah Evans is also off as well….leaving a door open for Damaris Dawkins to take her spot in the playoffs with a win tonight. Let’s do this.

Backstage with Cheeseburger and Eli Isom….they look ready to get into the playoffs tonight…and immediately out of the side door Dawgnation grabs them both and pulls them in to lay them out. Logan Laroux pops out to say “Take one of mine, we take two of yours”. What does he think happened with Breaux Keller???

However @LoganLaroux’s hounds DawgNation Jumped both men
Will they be cleared to compete tonight?
What was the reason for this?

We cut to the venue. Ryan Mooney slides right into the ring. He says he doesn’t want to wait…and he really wants to fight someone RIGHT NOW…especially anyone associated with attacking Cheeseburger and Eli Isom. Ernie Osiris slides in and tries to take control. Prince Nana’s music hits and the boss is HERE. Nana understands Mooney is upset but he sends him to the back. Mooney wants to know how much Logan paid him to send him away. Here comes the Privileged….Mooney wants a piece but he gets dragged to the back while Logan takes the ring….and Nana lets this stand???
Logan is our Premier Fighter, as we unfortunately know. He says that he’d LOVE to fight Cheeseburger but he already got into a fight tonight. Instead, he offers a chance in the FINAL Premier Contenders bout to CB’s top student, David Moses. This is a Premier Contenders Bout? Even commentary sounds disappointed by this. Where is Nana? Why is this happening?
Match 1: Logan Easton Laroux (w/ Dawg Nation) vs David Moses (Premier Contender’s Bout)
Laroux says “THIS IS A BIG OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU” to David but we all know this is his easy way out. David Moses is a student. Moses grabs the foot and gets a quick takedown! Wait, does he have a chance here? Full nelson slam! Logan reverses the position and hits the Gentrification cutter out of the corner for the win. This was MAYBE a minute. The crowd hates Logan and this….but Laroux has punched his ticket to the grand finale of the Hybrid Division.
Winner: Logan Easton Laroux
LSG hits the ring to confront Laroux and Dawg Nation. He’s frustrated that Logan got LSG suspended and didn’t make him part of the Privileged. Logan says he says a better prospect in Breaux Keller than LSG….but opportunity knocks and Keller was taken out….so LSG has the spot if he wants it? LSG says NOPE. He’s ready to fight all three of them right now but security runs him off since he IS still suspended from FIGHTT PRO. Logan has a target on his back now.
Backstage video with Gia Scott. She’s here to take the entire Grapplers Division and encourages anyone to try and stop her.
Match 2: KZT vs Damaris Dawkins (Grappler’s Division Wild Card Match)
This is do or die for both women. Damaris knows she has a few losses under her belt while KZT is finally making her debut. The winner goes to the playoffs. The loser goes home. Dawkins runs KZT into the corner but KZT just shoves her back. Quick arm drag, Dawkins is still smiling as she hit a sliding lariat. Trading over a wrist lock…KZT grabs the hair and slams her back. That’s a warning. KZT taking advantage though and trying to choke Dawkins out. KZT picks up ANOTHER violation for hair pulling. She needs to be real careful here. Dawkins whipped into the buckles and KZT chokes her in the corner. Damaris with a sunset flip….she picks the ankle and grabs the choke. Cool submission but KZT BITES to get free. Another violation! It’s KZT’s last chance as Dawkins fires up with punches to the abs. Northern lights! Kat with a short suplex that was almost a ddt. Jumping bulldog from KZT. The ref is making the ten count….is this a KO? Dawkins up at 9! KZT starts choking Dawkins with her BJJ belt! She’s been disqualified! KZT is furious and doesn’t understand why she lost while Dawkins is unconscious on the mat. Dawkins comes to and is happy she won SOMEHOW.
Winner: Damaris Dawkins (2pts - forfeit)
Backstage with Ernie Osiris and three tag teams….they all want to remaining two spots in the playoffs. Osiris says whoever draws the short straw gets a bye into the playoffs. Unfortunately, THE GOONS DRAW THE SHORT STRAW. Primal Fear and Skid Row are sent to the ring for their wild card match. The Busky Brawlers come in and aggressively congratulate them…Eric Martin USED TO be a Goon but no more. Big Dust is slapped silly and the Goons clearly have a date in the playoffs with the Brawlers.
How is @ErnDaBurnOsiris going to determine which team @MattOmen999/@Fear_Gabriel13 @TheShooterKM/@MylesMillennium w/@bigdust__

Match 3: Primal Fear (Gabriel Hodder & Matthew Omen) vs Skid Row (Samuel Fawzi & Tim Dynamite) (Tag Team Division Wild Card Match)
At least the winners of this contest don’t have to fight a pair of angry Brawlers. That said, Skid Row is going up against their trainers in Primal Fear. Primal Fear might have helped school them…but this is business and there’s a tournament spot on the line. Out of the blue, LSG pops into the feed and says he knows EXACTLY who Logan is. Before anything else can happen, we’re back to the ring. Prince Nana is back at ringside. Omen with a one arm toss over on Fawzi…he tries getting in his head with some patronizing pats on the head. Fawzi is frustrated and almost cradles Omen for the pin! Dynamite and Hodder in…..Tim tries to be competitive but Hodder just tosses him to the buckles. Dynamite with a chop but Hodder thinks it’s funny and blasts a lariat. Demolition style kick to the side of the head…Dynamite to trying to fight free from Omen but he gets snapped down with a saito suplex. Dynamite sends Hodder to the floor….Omen with a swing and picks up a warning. Fawzi tags in and he’s taking it to Hodder! Stupid fast slide and a snap STO for two! Tag to Omen, Hodder spears Fawzi, Omen blasts Dynamite down with a single leg dropkick. Scaffold slam to Dynamite by Primal Fear picks up the emphatic win!
Winners: Primal Fear (3pts)
Backstage again: Ryan Mooney is just seething and wants a piece of the Privileged. He promises to blow through the 10 point gauntlet to get his shot to tear apart Logan. Cut to Matt Hayter, he’s confident. So is Devantes. So is Matt Quay. I love quick promo montages like this. Reminds me of the old Royal Rumble pre-show. Miles Penn says he’s the least experienced in the match….but this is his home. Moses….is here to destroy everyone. Rhett Titus hopes onto commentary for our main event, since he’s #1 ranked. I’m doing a double take on these rules because this is VERY interesting. Basically, it’s a beat the clock challenge….but also a gauntlet match and you can win against a new opponent simply by making the match last longer than your previous win. Also points are awarded as normal for each win PLUS 10 points to the gauntlet winner. There’s a LOT at stake here….and a lot of MATH happening.
Main Event: 10 Point Rush
Round 1: Matt Hayter vs Devantes
Another debut in a wild card match! It’s about as last minute as you can get….and Devantes may NOT be the first person you see across the ring. Strong lockups push each other around the ring. Hayter with a shoulder block but it does nothing. A rana gets the big man down. He tosses Devantes’ leg to the ref and uses the distraction to land a cutter! Unfortunately, this is a warning for “ref utilization”. Lol. Crotch check to Devantes face and he starts chopping up the hoss of hosses. Devantes with a quick German but Hayter is out at one. For a beat the clock match, these guys are working without a lot of urgency….on the other hand, they both have a LONG way to go if they plan to get those ten points. Hayter getting tossed around at will. Hard kick to the head for two. Both guys pull each other’s hair. Devantes gets a warning while Hayter picks up his first violation. Hayter with a high knee and European uppercut for two! Back and forth on the ropes, tornado DDT to Devantes for two! Hayter goes for a moonsault….nothing! Devantes goes for the TKO, Hayter blocks the first attempt but Devantes gets it the second time for three count!
Results: Matt Hayter (0pts) is eliminated. Devantes earns 3pts and advances with a time of 6:30
Round 2: Devantes vs Ryan Mooney
Devantes is clearly winded in the corner after that exhausting match. Mooney is alllll over him. Devantes trying to push off but Ryan keeps the pressure on. Dropkick! Sunset bomb into the buckle! I just noticed that Devantes still has his one warning. These carry over?!? Oh man, that’s kind of a game changer for this kind of match. Devantes kicks out but he’s in TROUBLE. As much as I said the last match had little urgency…this is ALL go from Mooney. Devantes runs into a kick…he reverses an arm drag and blasts the Honey Badger with a lariat. Mooney kicks out but Devantes is slowing this down with shoulder blocks….and picks up a violation for hair pulling. Hard toss to Monney for two. Devantes gets caught in a cross arm breaker….Mooney transitions to an arm triangle…..Devantes with the pickup bomb out of trouble! Mooney leapfrogs out of danger…..rolling codebreaker! Devantes falls out of the ring. Mooney suicide dives right after him, well aware this picks up a warning for him. Both guys struggle back to the ring….Mooney makes it! Devantes does not!
Result: Devantes is eliminated. Ryan Mooney earns 2pts with a time of 5:30
Round 3: Ryan Mooney vs Matt Quay
Mooney goes right to a lock up and gets wrapped up by Quay. Mooney grabs the arm and tries to run the clock out and get his breath back. Quay with his own arm drag and slams Mooney down. Mooney tries to be a Delirious level of evasive but Quay catches him with a hard spine buster. Mooney with a half and half suplex! Trading quick pin attempts back and forth! Fighting over the back slide….Mooney landing hard chops! We have less than a minute left as they hit a double cross body…..Slow trading on their knees….Time expires as they both drop on their backs!
Result: Time Limit Draw BUT Ryan Mooney is eliminated for having one warning to Quay’s 0. Mooney earns 1 pt. Matt Quay advances to the next round with 2 pts and a time of 5:30. Mooney is devastated by this.
Round 4: Matt Quay vs Miles Penn
Penn tries the quick roll up. High knee to Quay, kick out! Penn is trying to get the quick win but Quay is reversing it. He hits a palm strike and a fireman’s carry neck breaker to Penn to get the there three!
Result: Miles Penn is eliminated. Matt Quay picks up 3pts and a time of 1:40
Round 5: Matt Quay vs Moses
Oh dear. Moses takes his time as the clock is already ticking down before he gets in the ring. Quay comes out fighting…Moses pushes him off. Quay runs right into a headbutt and he goes immediately to sleep in 35 seconds. YEOW.
Winner: Moses(4pts for the KO and 10pts for the Gauntlet)
Rhett Titus is flabbergasted on commentary as Jason Heat points out that Moses just rocketed to the top of the ranking.
Backstage footage as Logan is yelling at Nana for letting LSG attack him. Ernie Osiris bursts in and gets in Nana’s face e about all the chaos. Nana promises he will fix all of this as the show goes off air.
We have our playoffs set! The next couple of weeks are going to be high stakes as we narrow down the field and get ready to crown FIGHTT PRO’s first champions…..but how is Prince nana going to reign in the madness that has been all over the Worldwide Dojo recently???
With Wildcard week coming to an end, the Division Playoff Tournament Brackets are now officially set.

Wow, I just realized that by winning the 10 Point Rush how he did…Moses just launched himself into the #1 bye slot for the Hybrid Division finals….and Rhett Titus has a whole other match to get through next week. Maybe he should have been KO’ing more people and not getting hot about fighting Delirious? Anyways, the stage is set. This was a fun episode. Logan is a perfect s***bag, completely disrespecting the concept of the Premier Fighter Gauntlet in front of Prince Nana. I really enjoyed the tag match but the entire 10 Point Rush Gauntlet is worthy of being our Fight of the Week (especially the Mooney vs Quay segment). Who will remain standing next week? Until then!
