Bryan Danielson announced that he underwent surgery two weeks ago to repair the broken arm he suffered while wrestling Kazuchika Okada at the 2023 Forbidden Door PPV in Toronto.
Danielson noted he had a steel rod and nine screws placed in his arm:
Also, to give everyone an update before #AEWDynamite, I got surgery on my arm about two weeks ago, where they put in a steel rod and 9 screws. Surgery went well and I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you all for the support, and check out #BloodAndGuts tonight! pic.twitter.com/6lKHsZk65f

Earlier this year, Danielson tore his labrum and dealt with compression in his neck following his Iron Man match with AEW Champion MJF as well.
