RODDY PIPER'S 'THEY LIVE' TO BE RE-RELEASED IN THEATERS FOR 35th ANNIVERSARY

Fathom Events will present two 35th Anniversary screenings of the late Roddy Piper's film They Live on Sunday 9/3 and Wednesday 9/6.

The film starred Piper as John Nada, a homeless construction worker who stumbles upon the truth that aliens have taken over and enslaved mankind.   

The film, directed by John Carpenter and co-starring Keith David and Meg Foster, opened at the top of the box office when it was released in November 1988, garnering $13,008,928 domestically over its four week run.  That would be the equivalent of $33,551,487.85 in 2023.

A fight scene between Piper and Keith David is often celebrated as one of the best movie fight sequences of all time.
