UPDATED DETAILS ON WWE, AEW, 'HEELS' CAST, LEGENDS AND MORE HEADING TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON THIS WEEK

The San Diego Comic Con, one of the biggest pop culture gatherings in the world, is set for later this month.  For fans of professional wrestling, the following is scheduled thus far.

WWE

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Mick Foley are scheduled to appear for the company on Thursday 7/20 for a panel that afternoon in Room  Room: 6A at 11:15 AM hosted by Sam Roberts and Johnny Gargano that will feature action figure reveals and more. 

There will also be a signing at the Mattel booth #3029 that from 12:15 - 1:15 PM, but which talents will be appearing is yet to be announced.

HEADLOCKED

Michael Kingston's Headlocked Comics will return to SDCC at Booth #1901 with talents and exclusives every single day.  Announced thus far:

HEELS

There will be a signing on Sunday 7/22 at 3 PM with Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, Chris Bauer and the former AJ Lee, AJ Mendez appearing.  Location to be announced.  Obviously, with the SAG-AFTRA strike, this may be subject to change.

WRESTLEQUEST

The forthcoming video game will have talent and a panel to discuss the project on Thursday 7/20:

Panel - WrestleQuest: The Wrestlefication of an RPG
4:15-5:15 PM, Room 6A
Join Mega Cat Studios team members alongside surprise legendary wrestlers, as they break down bringing traditional JRPG mechanics to the wrestling ring. Peak behind the scenes with case studies, lessons learned, and feedback from fans, professional wrestlers, and RPG superfans. Panelists include wrestling legends Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Sgt. Slaughter, Jeff Jarrett along with James Deighan and Zack Manko of Mega Cat Studios.

At the Skybound booth:
Wrestling legends Jeff Jarret, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Sgt. Slaughter will be making an appearance and signing, as the development team from Mega Cat Studios shows off the latest gameplay from the highly anticipated WrestleQuest (12:30-1:30pm).
