PCO OUT OF SLAMMIVERSARY?, FORMER IMPACT CHAMP RETURNING? TOMMY DREAMER RETURNING TO IMPACT TV AND MORE

Impact Wrestling announced that PCO "can't come back to life" in time for Slammiversary this Saturday after he was "set on fire" by Bully Ray.  So, Scott D'Amore "called" someone from Team Canada to come and team with him this Saturday:

 The strongest and best name who would make the most sense would be Eric Young, who left the promotion in October 2022 to sign with WWE and then never debuted.  If he's been released from WWE quietly and was able to return back "home", it would be a big coup for Impact, where he's always meant a lot, plus leaves them with lots of storyline stuff with Deaner, who "killed him" when Deaner took over as leader of The Design.  Young has been appearing in recent months for Anthem Media owned GamePlusNetwork, so there's that connection as welll.   Back in May, Young tweeted:

Out of the other former Team Canada members, Bobby Roode is out recovering from neck fusion surgery and signed to WWE.  Petey Williams is working as a Producer for WWE and the other members wouldn't be as impactful as Young.

Impact Wrestling will present the 2023 Slammiversary PPV Saturday night from Windsor, Ontario.  PWInsider.com will have live, ongoing coverage of the event, which will feature:

*Ultimate X: Jonathan Gresham vs. Mike Bailey vs. Angels vs. Kevin Knight vs. New Japan Pro Wrestling's KUSHIDA.

*Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven vs. Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly.

*Santino Marella vs. Dirty Dango.

*Frankie Kazarian with Traci Brooks vs. Eddie Edwards with Alesha Edwards.

*Impact Wrestling Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry vs. Kenny King.

*The Death Dollz & Jody Threat vs. Savannah Evans & Gisele Shaw & Jai Vidal.

Tommy Dreamer & Darren McCarty vs. Champagne Singh & Mahabali Shera has been announced for the 7/27 edition of Impact on AXS.  It will be Dreamer's first appearance on Impact TV since April.

Impact will air material from the Impact Wrestling Down Under tour next Thursday at 2 AM.
