WOW - WOMEN OF WRESTLING EPISODE 43 REPORT

WOW Episode 43: Tag Teams Only

Our commentary team is David McLane, Steven Dickey and AJ Mendez.

We start the show with a recap of the Championship match where Penelope Pink beating Kandy Krush, and Princess Aussie saving Kandy from a beat down by Pink and her enforcer Vickie Lynn McCoy. Aussie and Krush challenge them to a tag team match.

Rena Del Rey and Wrecking Ball vs Crystal Waters and Sandy Shore 

Ball and Waters start off. Waters dodges Ball’s charges and then gets a waistlock. Ball forces Waters to the corner, and when they go to the middle of the ring, Ball gets a waistlock. Waters drops down out of her grasp, goes underneath and drops Ball by yanking her legs. Waters gets a rear naked choke, and Ball just stands up and shrugs her off.

Shore and Reina are tagged in and Shore goes for a bulldog and Reina shoves her off. Shore tries for a crucifix, but Reina shrugs her off and hits a standing clothesline. Ball is tagged in,and she and Reina work over Shore. They keep Shore in the ring with quick tags. Shore is able to dodge a charge from Ball and gets a hot tag to Waters.

Waters takes down Ball with a spear and a drop kick. She hits a face buster and then a flipping neck breaker. Waters goes to the top and Reina knocks her into Ball’s arms.  Ball hits a slam and tags in Reina. Ball gets on Ball’s shoulders and Reina drops her on waters and they both pin Waters for the pin and the win.

Winner: Reina Del Rey and Wrecking Ball

Wrecking Ball grabs a mic and says they are still undefeated and Reina says they are coming after the tag team titles. 

Coach Campanelli, Randi Rah Rah, and Ariel Sky vs Genesis, Exodus, and Ice Cold

Coach and Genesis start out and whenever Genesis tries to lock up, Coach picks a leg. They do finally lock up and when they break, Coach picks the leg again. Ariel and Genesis tag in after Exodus tags out in disgust. Genesis gets a side headlock, but Ariel shoots her off and gets a hip toss as Genesis comes off the ropes. Ariel gets a side headlock into a two count. Genesis gets an arm bar and stomps on Ariel’s foot.  They break and Randi tags in with Cold.

Randi gets an arm drag, they go to the corner where Randi gets a schoolboy for one.  Cold tags in Exodus. Randi gets a side headlock and they struggle until Exodus pulls Randi to the mat by her hair. Randi is the babyface in peril as the heels keep her in their corner with quick tags. 

Cold attacks Coach and Ariel while Randi is down, drawing them in. The ref tries to keep them out as Cold’s team triple teams Randi. Coach breaks up the attack and goes after Cold’s team in their corner. Coach hits a spinning neckbreaker on Exodus, and helps Randi get into their corner so Randi can tag her in.  

Cold tags in as well, and Coach cleans house. Coach covers Cold for two, broken up by Exodus, who then hits an STO on Coach and the tag team siren goes off and everyone is in the ring.  When everyone is left laying, Coach hits an unprettier on Cold for the pin and the win.

Winners: Coach Campanelli, Randi Rah Rah, and Ariel Sky

David gets in the ring to interview the Coach who puts herself over. Ariel is asked a question, and Coach answers for her. 

Everyone worked well here, super fast by the number match.  Coach talking for Randi and Ariel is a standard bit, but it works well on this show. 

Americana and Jennifer Flores vs GI Jane and the Disciplinarian

Flores and Jane start by locking up and Jane tosses Flores back to her corner. Jane gets a waistlock and slams Flores to the mat. Flores twists out of Jane’s grasp for a hammerlock and then into a side headlock. Jane shoots her off but Flores comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle, followed by a head scissors takedown. 

Flores gets a charge into the corner and then a drop kick for two. Americana tags in and they whip Jane into the corner and Americana gets a snap more for two. Americana gets a side headlock and Jane runs her back to her own corner so that DC can tag in. Americana is whipped into the ropes and comes off with a back elbow. She puts DC in a side headlock and tags in Flores. 

Flores gets a schoolboy for one. When Flores comes off the rope, Samantha Smart grabs a foot, allowing DC to get a running clothesline for two. DC whips Flores across the ring into the turnbuckles, dropping Flores to the mat. DC then puts Flores on the apron and gets a cutter through the ropes and Flores drops to the floor. 

Smart chokes Flores with her ruler as the ref is distracted. Flores is rolled into the ring and DC goes back to work. DC gets a front slam for two. Jane is tagged in and she slams Flores down and stomps away. Jane then attacks Flores in the corner. Flores gets a jawbreaker and crawls to her corner to tag in Americana.  DC is tagged in and Americana works her over, getting a pin after a bulldog. 

The tag team siren goes off and everyone is in the ring. DC hits a TKO on Americana for the pin and the win.

Winners: GI Jane and the Disciplinarian

Miami Sweet Heat cut a promo about how they will beat Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag AGAIN. 

We get a video recap of the story about Betty and Holly having their truck towed back to Tennessee.

Main event: Miami Sweet Heat (Lindsey and Laurie Carlson) WOW Tag Team Champions vs Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag in a non-title match

Betty and Laurie lock up and Betty gets a quick side headlock. Laurie turns it into an arm bar, and Betty drops down, picks the leg for at wo count. She gets a snap mare on Laurie and Holly is tagged in, as is Lindsey. Holly gets a forearm and then hits double knees to Lindsey’s back and Lindsey is on the second rope. 

Holly follows up with double knees to Lindsey’s back again, driving her head into the mat for one, broken up by Laurie. Sweet Heat double team Holly and then Lindsey tosses her across the ring. They trade chops and Holly gets a crazed look in her eye as she tries to fight against the larger Lindsey. Laurie and Lindsey keep Holly in their corner with quick tags.

Holly gets a fireman’s carry into a facebuster on Lindsey and tags in Betty, who cleans house. Lana Starr gets on the apron and when Betty goes to punch her, Laurie stops her and hits a snap mare, but when Lindsey tries for a running kick, Betty dodges it. Betty tags in Holly, 

Holly runs into a stroke and Lindsey lifts her for a suplex, but Holly is able to reverse it into a small package for the pin and the win.

Winner: Holly Swag and Big Rig Betty
