Beyond Wrestling “Water Water Everywhere”

7/9/23 - Foxboro, MA

We’re back at the Six String and the very short ring is out today for Beyond’s monthly super show! We haven’t even gone live yet and look at what’s already gone down!

We’re kicking off with Bro Hymn! It’s a true return to form! 

Match 1: TJ Crawford (Big Business) vs Gabe Skye

Big Business is certainly not gonna use their numbers advantage to ruin what could be a hard hitting banger of a contest, right??? The early moments have been pure…I’m so much as they are trying to chop and kick the crap out of each other. Gabe with a siiiiiiick rana reversal from a corner powerbomb! Shotgun! Hard running kick…northern lights to a falcon arrow for two! TJ with a snapdragon and hard knee to the face. Gabe with a butterfly German! TK cutters him off the top for two! It’s not enough! TJ winding up for kill. Gabe fighting hard, Huge sitout tombstone! Kick out! Lion tamer applied! Oh the Businessman have entered the ring….Ichiban flies intro the ring with a crossbody to wipe them all out….TJ catches Gabe with a spinning back kick in the chaos and puts the lights out for three. 

Winner: TJ Crawford

 

Big Business with a double Buisness is booming and unloads on Gabe and Ichiban. Holliday and Waller hit the ring to even the odds…I think we’re Going right to the 6-man.

Match 2: Big Business (Brad Hollister, Julio Cruz & Victor Chase w/ TJ Crawford) vs Ichiban, Dustin Waller & Richard Holliday.

The bell rings and brings order to the chaos. The Marketable Miracle Ones (or…Rarified Generation…I think I hate that name) are owning the early moments but Big Baconbits comes in and proves why he’s the big boss. Dustin taking a lot of heat but finally Ichiban gets the hot tag and the Wrestling Open champ flies from the pony ring to the floor. Again, the numbers game is bad and Julio gets the upper hand and BB get back to it. These guys are magic when they are in control. HYPER CONFIDENT. Early 2021 Crypto Bro Confident. Holliday finally in. Double suplex to the Brick Babies. He press slams Ichiban out to the floor at BB! Holliday goes for a dive but Bacon’s in there. Dustin tossed at the Bricks. Destroyer to Bacon! Superkick parttttttttay! 4D! Bricks make the save! Ichiban with a flurry of chops! Double side Russian powerbomb combo. This was cool. Ichiban kicks out! They go for business is boombing but the Bricks get dragged out. Huge back and forth sequence of huge moves…Bacon with a swinging uranage that should end it but Ichiban is champ for a reason! Dustin flies into the ring with a cutter but Julio sets him up for the jackhammer by Bacon and Big Business takes the W in a hotttttttt match.

Winners: Big Business 

Match 3: B3CCA vs Dezmond Cole

This is Becca’s tuneup match before her huge IWTV title shot against Matt Tremont tomorrow. Cole looks to dance, Becca looking for a fight…and THEN teasing Cole with her dancing…Dezmond gets her into a dance anyways and Becca CAN play this game, we got a double double split! Cole with a great sweep and cross body..but Becca crotches him on the rope. This crowd is pretty evenly split. Becca with a Spanish fly off the top! Boofa catches a cross body…vertical suplex! Rolling leg drop for two! Becca with a PK and German for two! Hard forearms to the back of the head….she’s gonna make him humble! Cole won’t tap, Becca raining more forearms. Boofa with a capo kick and blue Thunder for a close two! Boofa up top and Becca hits the ropes! Heatseeker PIledriver for the pin!

Winner: B3CCA

Match 4: Ray Jaz & Pedro Dones vs Mane Event (Jay Lyon & Midas Black)

Ray trying to run down Pedro for not letting him help during his failed bid for the Wrestling Open title two weeks ago. Dones says they will DEAL WITH this problem between them soon…..but they have business to attend to with Mane Event tonight. Can I just say though….I know I’m supposed to be cheering Mane Event….but WHY. Seriously, why? What did they do to repent from their legitimate heel ways on Thursday nights? I’m booing everyone in this match…but maybe Pedro less and Jaz Wayyyyyyyyy more. The story here tho is Ray and Pedro trying to one up each other and talk trash on being unable to get the job done. Mane Event using this disconnect to their advantage. Pedro finally takes umbrage with Jaz and Ray walks off, leaving Dones to eat a Grand Finale for the win. Mane Event pull him up to cheer and I think the turn is complete. 

Winners: Mane Event

Match 5: Notorious Mimi vs Allie Katch

This is instantly delightful. Allie doesn’t wanna fight, she is instantly smitten with Mimi. We get it. Mimi teams with Love Doug and is used to this…so she keep bringing the fight. Mimi taking the advantage early until Katch tries to hit the heatseeker. Katch get La her to the corner, big hip attack and cannonball for two! P***y Piledriver? No! Mimi with the rollup! Allie with the headkick! Allie hasn’t forgotten her primary mission and Mimi is so flustered, Allie gets the rollup and the three!

Winner: Allie Katch

Love Doug is out here…he gets them to shake hands but it sure seems like he may have recruited some tag team partners. I’m sure LMK loves this.

Match 6: Anthony Greene vs Megan Bayne

I love that Greene’s delayed trip back to Japan gave him the opportunity to be here….but he ASKED FOR THIS MATCH? Bayne may just murder him. This crowd is way split again. Hard hitting back and forth early. AG landing hard and Bayne firing right back. It spills into the crowd and Bayne just landing hard chops on him against a support post. AG slams her on the apron and that must have extra sucked considering how low to the ground that f***er is. AG in control and working the back. Bayne firing back, huge spam and grabs the leg for two. AG with a backdrop that faceplants Bayne for two. He wants so much prettier but Bayne powers out. AG with a sunset flip powerbomb off the buckles. AG screaming at Bayne that she’s all hype! That brings Megasus to her feet! Bow down! F5 for two! AG hits so much prettier…kick out! He tries a tombstone…Bayne blocks it…she fights back in…she hits the tombstone! AG is downed!!!! 

Winner: Megan Bayne

AG is bowing before Megasus after this one. What a great send off for the Alternative. What a great match. We just saw Bayne’s two best matches in the last 3 days! 

Match 7: Brian Milonas vs Fancy Ryan Clancy

Kingpin doing big man stuff and Clancy is just trying to stay ahead of the big hits and get what he can in. That said, Milonas is powering through all the kill shots. He just throws Clancy off his side Russian. But Milonas drops Clancy and hits the earthquake splash for two. Black hole slam, another two. Kingpin getting frustrated at how resilient Clancy is. He tries a DOUBLE STOMP…Clancy dodges….neck twist! Clancy wraps up the arms of Milonas and arches back…a sugar hold??? Kingpin taps!

Winner: Fancy Ryan Clancy 

Match 8: Shook Crew (Bobby Orlando & Bryce Donovan) vs Hispanic Mechanics (Jos A & Jos B) vs Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) vs Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & BRG)

The crowd is literally chanting “Anybody but the ranch” lolllllll. Is this just a 6 on 2? It’s a fun back and forth of babyface team who wanna dance and have some good competition. UNFORTUNATELY, the ranch is here too. B tags in Stetson against BRG…ahahaha, everyone eggs them on to fight…BRG lays down for the pin! Starts on goes for it but everyone stops that in a second. The ranch getting their s*** together and almost put away Jaelyn. Tornado armbreaker! Traevon is in with Stetson! BRGbhas enough to make the save. Bryce drags Stetson over for a tag so he can have a chokeslam competition with Traevon. IYKYK. They lock up but can only chokeslam everyone AROUND them. Stetson gets invoked and it’s DEFINITELY a 6 on 2 now. BRG tries to hide in plain sight…he can’t. This is just bananas. Sick trick cutter to Traevon. BRG tries to steal it…hell no. Huge flurry of big moves. BRG miscalculates…superkick to Stetson! Orlando with a back stabber! He goes for the elbow but Danny Miles runs in a blasts Orlando with SOMETHING….Orlando is staggering and Stetson hits the Northern Jersey Lariat for the win. Nooooooooooooooo!

Match 9: Dan Barry vs Matt Makowski

Welcome back to Weapon X! Dan Barry, we love him…but Makowski has something to prove tonight. He WAS the number one contender for the IWTV championship. Makowski tossing Barry around but Dan has some much ring experience and Matt may be rusty for us. Dan owning the early moments but Matt coming back to twist him up. This is pretty back and forth. Dan with a short ddt drops them both. Makowski working for the rear naked choke….he wraps up a cattle mutilation…Dan won’t tap. Butterfly German for two! Weapon X landing hard chest kicks. Hard chops back and forth. Dan with an enziguri! Swanton! Kick out! Dan trying a dragon sleeper but Matt flips out, tries to take the arm. Dak fighting it but Makowski rolls through and back stabs him to an armbar for the tap out. Welcome back, Makowski but give Dan Barry his goddamned flowers. 

Winner: Matt Makowski

Main Event: Church of Greatness (Brother Greatness, Steve Azure; Steve Somerset, Tyree Taylor & Anastasia Morningstar) vs Love Doug, Little Mean Kathleen, Teddy Goodz, Allie Katch & Notorious Mimi (Elimination Match)

If Doug’s team win, they have a pastor for their wedding in Brother Greatness….for FREE. If the CoG wins? LMK becomes a nun and Doug is an usher at the church now. LMK can’t deal with all this temptation that Doug has surrounded himself with. Allie uses that temptation to her advantage and makes Azure…VERY uncomfortable. He tries to protest but Allie blasts him with a heat seeker and gets the tap on an armbar! 4-5

Somerset in to pick the bones but Allie blasts him with a seated senton. Mimi tags in, double knees & cannoball! Allie with a boot to the side of the head and Mimi TKO’s him for the pin. Both the Stevens are out! 3-5

Anastasia and Tyree clear house. LMK runs in to chokeslam Tyree and Anastasia. Nope. LMK press slammed out of the ring. Mimi and Allie trying to take out the demoness. Are Mimi and Allie gonna smooch?!? Anastasia puts a stop to that. Fade to Black on Mimi. A chokeslam on Allie. It’s back to back pitfalls for the Demoness and it’s 3-3 now. 

LMK in and has…maybe a wedding invite for Anastasia? No, Morningstar doesn’t wanna go and side slams her for two. BG in and slams Kathleen: this is what happens when you SIN! LMK escapes a fade to black..tag to teddy! 

Teddy with a high cross body and superkick! Blind tag to LMK, who gets the pin! 2-3

Tyree in to clean this up. He goes for a choke but LMK biting hard! Tag to teddy! Atomic drop! Teddy with a pile of back elbows but Tyree turns him inside out with a discus lariat for the elimination. 2-2

Doug in and BG tries to take the easy pin but LMK makes the save. Doug sent out…BG catches LMK with a brain buster for the elimination! Oh noooo 2-1

“NO MORE WEDDING” yells BG as he hits a running knee. Kick out!  Miscommunication with Tyree and Doug hits the Rebound on BG for the Elimination! 1-1

Tyree in for “easy” pickings. Big slam to Doug! Kick out! Huge PK from the big man…kick out! The crowd LOVES Doug! Tyree takes him up too…DOUG HITS A SUPER SLICE OF LOVE!!!! The Rebound connects again and Tyree is out! The wedding is on!!!!!

LMK is out here to celebrate and make out with her fiancée! This is a win for LOVE! ...I think…? We’re getting a WEDDING NEXT MONTH!
