This Friday's WWE Friday Night Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC will now feature World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defending against Finn Balor in a bout featuring Monday Night Raw talents. WWE made the decision yesterday to remove Damian Priest from the match, possibly because he is now holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. All of Judgment Day had been slated for the Garden but we are told that is no longer the case.
Announced for the broadcast tomorrow is Roman Reigns going before the Usos' Tribal Council. Also advertised is WWE Hall of Famer Edge returning on The Grayson Waller Effect, which would also be Waller's MSG debut, AJ Styles vs. Karrion Kross with Scarlett and WWE United States Champion Austin Theory vs. Sheamus.
The taping is 100% sold out with the only tickets left are those being sold by resellers at insane markups.
Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Bayley, Solo Sikoa, Rey Mysterio, Sheamus, The Street Profits and LA Knight are locally advertised.
The taping will be noteworthy as it will likely be the final time WWE runs MSG under the ownership of The McMahon family before the Endeavor acquisition closes.
