FIGHTT PRO “Round 3”

6/27/23 - IWTV.live

Prince Nana, as of last week, is away on business and left FIGHTT Pro in the hands of a despondent Ernie Osiris. He’s opening this week’s episode but is immediately interrupted by the Goons (Myles Millennium, Killian McMurphy & Big Dust). Killian was set to face Rhett Titus tonight but why was Myles brought in? To be an alternate? The Goons stage a sit in protest….

….until Rhett Titus shows up to talk them down. Rhett agrees to face them both…in a Goontlet Match. Lol. Ernie lays some ground rules. Dust  can stay at ringside like a manager should but the Goons have to stay in the back while their partner is fighting. I liked this very highlight-driven narrative style to get through what could have been a long opening segment.

Jason Heat and Avery Good are on commentary! We get some updates on the roster and rankings! Anthony Bennett? Out of the hybrid division…but he’s headed to the tag team division with new tag partner Tony Leyenda….while keeping Bennett’s original seed. Nice deal!

We get a video package from Devantes. He’s COMING. The Hoss of all Horses is kicking off this week’s action!

Match 1: Hybrid Division - Devantes (alternate) vs Rayo

These guys do NOT respect each other. They are ready to walk through their opponent. Devantes showing his power advantage early. Huge corner charges and tosses send Rayo on the ride repeatedly. Rayo just getting punished, as Devantes very much wants to secure a spot in the hybrid division. Rayo with a back elbow and shotgun dropkick. This is his shot as he tries to put the hoss to sleep. Devantes tries a TKO but Rayo slips free and starts biting! Warning! Devantes is MAD and throws a couple of huge shots. Rayo with a reversal to a bulldog…code red for two! Lightning Kick misses…Devantes hits a running TKO and picks up the pin! Devantes is in the division officially!

Winner: Devantes (3pts)

Video Package from Skid Row as they hype themselves up for a clash with the Busky Brawlers…who are fresh of a surprising loss and ready to murder some young boys.

Match 2: Tag Team Division - Busky Brawlers (Joe Keys & Eric Martin) vs Skid Row (Tim Dynamite & Samael Fawzi)

Skid Row is here representing their home wrestling academy at SuperKrazee….they don’t actually LIKE each other…but the Busky Brawlers? They are on the same page enough to deal with them..but they also have less than 10 matches each? The Brawlers…well, they are about to introduce them to some “real man s***”.  Dynamite gets the first shots in and a flustered Joe Keys has to kick out in less than a minute! That…doesn’t last and Keys starts to smash this poor kid. Keys just tosses him into the corner and Martin comes it to get a taste of this roadkill. Huge lariat. Dynamite escapes the pain and gets to Fawzi! Martin getting stunned. Big codebreaker! Joe Keys just runs in and starts beating on Fawzi to draw a warning while Martin recovers. Eric back up and boots Fawzi’s head off….big tosses. Dynamite runs in, they get a warning. Keys blasts his head off. Martin starts pulling Fawzi’s hair, violation. He drops bomb after bomb to the back of the head. I think he just draw a SECOND warning for not stopping but he rolls Fawzi over and gets the three. Skid Row is ejected into the front row of their friends and family. Damn, guys. This was a whuppin’.

Winners: Busky Brawlers

Let’s go back to Anthony Bennett. He’s in the tag team division now with Tony Leyenda. Leyenda is BRASH. He doesn’t care who his partner is…as long as they win. Can Bennett hold up his end of the bargain?

Match 3: Hybrid Division - Logan Easton Laroux vs Matt Quay

Oh, look who’s back! Prince Nana ducks out and Logan is quick to slither back into the building. This is a PRO-QUAY room, clearly. Logan very simply says he’s going to hurt Quay. Quay seems unfazed and revved up. Ring the bell. Quay with a heavy shoulder block but Logan isn’t shook. He’s focused and returns fire with that 1% finger in the air. Quay trying quick pin after pin and Logan decks him with a closed fist. WARNING! He’s not worried, this is pure strategy, even if Quay won his spot in the division through a violation forfeit. Quay comes running right into a knee lift. High cross body forearm strike for two. Logan with a basement dropkick and he’s barely breaking a sweat. Quay getting whipped about and chopped up. Quay with some lariat reversals but Logan sent flying. Logan with a baseball slide leaves him laying on the floor. It’s CLOSE to a warning but not QUITE. Quay barely makes it back and Logan just unloading on him. Matt still throwing punches but Laroux is walking him down. Logan eats buckle and Quay fires up! Stinger Splashes! Crossbodies!
Laroux with ANOTHER closed fist and picks up a real violation. He starts dropping elbow after elbow to the head. Quick pin attempts. Laroux is allllll over him….but Quay reverses to a suplex for a near fall. Laroux rakes the eyes and draws another violation…but this time he plants Quay with a cutter and leaves him bloody for the three count.

Winner: Logan Easton Laroux

Jason Heat hits the ring to interview Logan but LAROUX WANTS HIS APOLOGY FOR ALL THE LIES THAT WERE TOLD ABOUT HIM. What lies? Heat offers one up anyways…just so they can get to the interview and prolly so Lgoan stops yelling at him. He asks if Logan can catch up to Rhett Titus to be number one. Logan is CONFIDENT that he doesn’t have to worry about the KO dropkick. Heat alllllso lets him know that his next opponent is going to bee the man he put in the hospital two weeks ago, CHEESEBURGER!

Dominick Denaro has a video package and seems to think he’s going to have his way with Moses. I….saw last week, sir. Moses has a retort….he’s going to deliver a message to FIGHTT PRO next week!

Match 4: Tag Team Division - Anthony Bennett & Tony Leyenda vs Action Andretti & Breaux Keller

Bennett seems to have no put down his party cup and dancing…..Leyenda already looks worried at his prospects. Leyenda uses the face off to get Bennett in line…and talk down to everyone else since HE is the future of the industry. Keller and Andretti wave this confidence off as hype. Bennett is quickly handled. Legends thinks he will do better…he doesn’t. Andretti and Keller are just showing off their incredible energy and chemistry, even as a newer tandem. Bennet saves his partner with a blind tag….but that’s illegal and they get a warning. Andretti eating some hard shots and a hard knee to the side of the head. Andretti is cut off as they make a PROPER tag and Leyenda starts unloading. Leyenda is directly traffic and keeping Bennett in line. Keller with the tag in, Bennet buckle bombed into Leyenda! Keller landing a flurry of kicks, backstabber! X factor for two! Bennett runs in to draw the violation but gives Leyenda the time to recover and hit a popup cutter. Bennett tags in during this sequence but Leyenda misses it, Leyenda is FURIOUS that he’s not allowed to get the pin! He’s yelling at Bennet and Andretti collides them. Leyenda sent flying. Bennett is screwed and they hit a 3D on him for the win. Leyenda…is….not….happy.

Winners: Action Andretti & Breaux Keller (3PTS)

Leyenda has the mic. He told Bennett he’s here to WIN. He calls himself Prince Nana’s golden goose so if Bennet doesn’t SHAPE UP….well he better shape up. Bennett is SHAMED but Leyenda is staying with him all the way to the back.

Match 5: Grapplers Division - Persia Pierce vs Trish Adora

LET’S. F***IN’. GO. Persia is growling that Trish is gonna tap or snap. Trish suggests that Lariat Tubman is gonna free her from the waking world. Persia is a bit of a beast, very aggressively taking Trish over and over and trying to just break her down. Trish is a very good grappler but she’s having issues dealing with this level of coming forward. Trish with a dodge and lands a couple of slams to the knee. Huge pump kick and a senton! Trish wants the ref to make the count and see if she gets the KO. Persia gets back to her feet, technically with the rope and gets a warning. But she’s back to her feet and she’s right back to being ALLLLLLL over Adora. Trish breaks an armbar with a big slam. She waits for Persia to get back up and BLASTS her with Lariat Tubman. Persia is REKT and cannot make the count to her feet. Trish with the KO! DAAAAAMN. Adora holds out her hand but Persia wants NOTHING to do with it.

Winner: Trish Adora.

We get a video promo from Primal Fear. Matthew Omen & Gabriel Hodder are ready make their debut in FIGHTT PRO next week!

Match 6: Rhett Titus vs Killian McMurphy & Myles Millennium (w/ Big Dust) (Goontlet Match)

Millennium is up first. He says he’s gonna rip up Titus. Rhett points out that he is ALREADY ripped. Lol. Rhett quickly controls Myles with a head scissor and take over. Heat and Good are trying to gas up Myles’ pedigree as an amateur wrestler….he’s not exhibiting it though. Rhett is just running through him. Myles trying to pull Rhett out of the ring and draws a warning because heeeeee forgoooooot the ruuuuuules and his feet touched the floor. Sliced Bread variation as Rhett does find himself on the defensive. He pushes Myles off of a leg twister but eats a spike ddt! Myles with a close two and he’s trying to maul the #1 seed! Myles comes running….Rhett with the dropkick and Myles is KO’d! That’s four points for Rhett!

McMurphy is out next. He’s not thrilled to see his barely conscious partner on the floor. Rhett is already good for the next fight against another person who (like last week’s opponent Bobby Shields) was in the original FIGHTT PRO iteration. Killian trying to show off but Rhett makes him pay quick. Rhett wraps up the head and does pushups on his head. Killian fighting back, he’s going for the legs. Rhett can’t KO Killian if he doesn’t have legs. He takes a shot into Rhett’s throat to draw a warning. Rhett with a monkey flip and starts working over McMurphy’s lower back. Crowd calling for a KO as Rhett blasts a big boot series for two. Huuuuuuge chop. Rhett with an up and over but he might have jacked up his knee? Rhett goes for an armbar….can he not hit the dropkick?Killian has caught on and swarms on that knee. Twist it. Spike it. Slam it. Pin it. Titus is continuing to kick out but he’s hurting. Rhett pushes off…cross body from the top for two! Rhett with another toss and another kick out. Rhett coming in and McMurphy powders out for a violation. Rhett ALMOST gets suckered into picking up his first warning….no. He dares Big Dust into the ring. Rhett blindsided with a cross chickenwing….Rhett’s out and Killian wipes out Dust with a clothesline. Rhett hits the dropkick! Killian doesn’t immediately go out. He makes the 9 count?!? Rhett immediately hits a second dropkick and THIS is the kill shot. 4 more points for Titus!

WInner: Rhett Titus (8pts)

Rhett admits his knee might have been a little messed up but he’s a PROFESSIONAL. But he has some business to attend to as he challenges Delirious for week! How long will this KO streak continue?

Main Event: Premier Contenders Division - Victory Benjamin vs Tim “Mush Master” Spriggs

This is looking like a full on MMA main event and I bet it won’t go long. Spriggs grabs the waist and starts tossing Victor about. As much as Victor has transformed his game, Spriggs is alllllllll over him. Spriggs stands and almost gets his clocked cleaned. This is not Tim Spriggs game and he wants to keep it close and grounded. Victor dodges a knee and starts landing heavy elbows and knees over and over. Spriggs comes running, Victor pops him up and hits a spinning back kick! Spriggs almost goes out again! Victor tries to pull him into guard but Spriggs with the arm drag judo takeovers. Victor fights out of his grip….spinning head kick connects but Spriggs drops into a heel hook! Ankle lock and Victor is struggling…..Kick out, Sparta kick, sweep, German…..Benjamin measuring up…..runnning knee in the corner. Spriggs is out? Spriggs catches him in a triangle! Victor pushes Spriggs onto his shoulders and gets the pin fall. Spriggs is FURIOUS that he got caught. This was awesome.

Winner: Victor Benjamin

Ernie Osiris is out here to announce the next Premier Contender….next round? Victor Benjamin vs ERICK STEVENS! That…..might be fantastic. Next week, we’ve also got Primal Fear vs Busky Brawlers, Logan Laroux vs Cheeseburger and Rhett Titus vs Delirious (in a non Division spotlight match)! Solid show this week, very much enjoyed Trish/Persia and Logan/Quay but that main was a true blast of a sprint. See you next week!
