In a video with Cool Kick where he is shopping for sneakers, Dave Bautista confirmed our story from several months ago that he would have accepted his WWE Hall of Fame induction over Wrestlemania 39 weekend in Los Angeles but shooting dates for his My Spy sequel required him to be overseas the same time a Mania weekend, so he couldn't appear. Rey Mysterio was tapped as the headliner once Bautista informed WWE he had a conflict. Bautista was named to the Hall of Fame in 2020 but was never officially inducted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
