Shout! Factory announced this week that they will be issuing a limited edition blu-ray release of Jesse Ventura film Abraxas, Guardian Of The Universe.
The plot of the 1991 science fiction film - "Alien guardian Abraxas arrives on earth in pursuit of his corrupt ex-partner Secundus, who has impregnated a woman with a potentially dangerous embryo. The child, `the comater' will be able to help Secundus secure power for himself."
Ventura plays Abraxas, the lead character.
The set will be limited to a printing of 1,500 and will feature a new 2K Scan From The Best Surviving Film Elements, a theatrical trailer as an extra and audio featuring 2.0 Mono DTS-HD Master Audio.
