FORMER WWE & ECW STAR MIKE BUCCI CAPTURES LET'S DANCE LOUISVILLE CHAMPIONS TROPHY AS PART OF ANNUAL CHARITY EVENT

Former WWE and ECW star Mike Bucci, aka Simon Dean and Nova, was awarded the Champions Trophy for the 2023 Let's Dance Louisvile charity competition, which raises money for meals for homeless families, over the weekend:

Bucci commented the charity event was, "One of the coolest nights of my life. Last night was truly magical. I got a chance to do ?be a part of Let's Dance Louisville benefiting Sandefur Dining Hall. At the end of the night when the dust settled, we pulled off the impossible and brought home the Grand Champion Mirror Ball trophy!! Special shout to my squad of Aron Stevens and Patricia Tooley Spencer who helped all around and Kyle David Warden, Scott Cardinale, Wesley Wren and John Hardin who were great as the "Villains" from The Princess Bride. The amazing Robin Valenzuela was perfect as Princess Buttercup and yours truly was the Dread Pirate Roberts. We put on a "Cinematic Performance" from the movie that lead into the dance to the tune of Bryan Adams hit -"Everything I Do, I do it for you" and I think it we nailed it. The people loved it. The judges gave us a perfect score of 30!! I want to thank everyone that came out to show their support, including all of my Fifth Third Bank family, Bobby Lacer, Eileen, Sean Clevenger and son, Naqash Gul and Sarah, Kelly Graybill and family, Jennifer, the group from Ford,Klapheke and Meyer, Steve Kreiztin and family, etc. Almost 40 folks total!! I wanna thank all of my sponsors, including Brazeiros, Replenish 502, John J Tan, Ford, Klapheke and Meyer, 8 Up, 107.7 and Summit Media, Six Flags, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, Derby City Foam Parties. I also want to thank everyone who donated under my name. I want to thank Al Snow, Frankie Gerdelman and Aron for their support videos. We couldn't done this without all the help from behind the scenes from Maggie, Jenny , Rosetta, the entire committee, Director Shaune and the Marriott Hotel. Thanks to Jani Szukk and Viktoria for being such great instructions also and great people too. Shout out to all my fellow dancers who worked so hard. They made this process a lot of fun. Most of all, I could’ve done this without having [his daughter] Olivia there. It was one of the best moments we’ve ever had together."

Bucci retired officially from professional wrestling last December.
