We begin with comments from Delmi Exo and Taya Valkyrie about the Featherweight Title Match on tonight’s show.
Delmi says it has been far too long that Taya has been hiding from her.
Taya says Delmi isn’t on her level and it is pathetic that MLW gave her a match. You don’t deserve to look at her.
Delmi says her strategy is that she won’t back down from someone who is a clout chaser. All Taya cares about is herself. Delmi says someone with her attitude is disingenuous. She doesn’t care about MLW or the fans. MLW deserves someone who respects the fans.
Taya says when she first came to MLW, the fans loved her and couldn’t get enough of her. They let her down and they are pathetic. Delmi, you will realize that you belong with the fans because you are pathetic. She asks what is a God Queen. Taya says tonight will end like every other night. She has defended the title against the best and she has created her own legacy. She will tell her story her way.
Delmi says the God Queen will bring a new era to MLW. There are a number of ways to beat Taya but she wants to finish her with a Delmi Driver.
Taya says she has carried this division on her back. You are never going to get on her level.
Match Number One: Akira (with Raven) versus Lince Dorado versus Lio Rush for the MLW Middleweight Championship
Akira attacks Dorado from behind while Lince makes his way to the ring before the match. Akira drops Lince on the guardrail. Akira chokes Dorado with a towel and hits a suplex on the floor. Officials check on Dorado while Lio makes his way to the ring.
Lio blocks a kick and Akira blocks a kick. Akira with a kick and chops in the corner. Akira with an Irish whip and Lio floats over and misses a shoulder. Lio with a head scissors to Akira followed by a series of kicks. Lio gets a near fall. Akira with a forearm to Lio and Lince gets to the apron. Lince with a kick to Akira and a head scissors to Lio to knock Akira off the apron. Lince with a back heel kick and a springbaord arm drag. Lince with a series of kicks.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Lince is up top and he hits a twisting splash onto Akira and Lio on the floor. Lince sends Akira back into the ring and he hits a cross body for a near fall. Akira goes for the wrist and hits a wrist lock take down. Lio gets into the ring to stop Akira. Akira kicks Lio and connects with a forearm and elbow followed by a kick. Akira with a Yakuza kick to Lince and then to Lio. Lince with a thrust kick to Akira followed by a kick from Lio. Lince with a handspring cutter followed by a springboard cutter from Lio that sends Akira to the floor.
Lince and Lio have some words and they exchange forearms. Lince with an airplane spin but Lio escapes and hits a round kic. Lio goes up top and Akira with a forearm to stop him. Akira goes up top and he sets for a superplex but Lio blocks it. Lio with a kick but Akira with an enzugiri. Lince with a rollup into a cross arm breaker but Lio with a frog splash to break up the cover. Akira breaks up Lio’s cover.
Lio sends Akira to the apron and he kicks Akira off the apron and hits a suicide dive. Lio misses a frog splash and Lince sends Lio to the apron. Akira with Death Penalty for the three count.
Winner: Akira (new champion)
We go to Taya Valkyrie.
She starts to talk but there are some technical difficulties.
Taya is advised of the problems and she yells at the production guy.
We go to Jacob Fatu. He says that he was told that he is cleared. He tells John Hennigan or whatever his name is, next week is his turn. Next week is his turn. The Calling can double back but the SST will be with him to take care of them.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at a video from the Calling.
Raven says they are gathered for a resurrection. Mandy joins them on a bold mission. A mission to Carcosa to bring power to the powerless. To bring darkness to the light.
We go to footage from earlier today with Sam Leterna and Willie Mack. She asks him about his game day prep.
Willie says he plays some video games and gets his eat in.
Sam Adonis is in the ring with John Hennigan and he has something to say. Sam says you can try to resist and hide from his kiss, but he is the best looking man in this room. Whether it is here or there, Sam Adonis is a marquee superstar in wrestling along with John Hennigan. He says he has not been back in New York since the pandemic. This place should not be opened for anyone. New York has the ugliest children, the fattest women, and men who can’t pay the bills.
Sam points out a fan and says he is New York’s finest. Sam says the women in the crowd is more famous in the locker room than any of the wrestlers. Sam wants to know who is he fighting.
Willie Mack has something to say. Willie corrects the ring announcer about where he is from. He says people want to see him put his right boot up your ass and that is what he is going to do. If your little buddy has a problem, he has a boot to go up his ass.
Match Number Two: Willie Mack versus Sam Adonis (with John Hennigan)
Sam tries to punch Willie before the match starts but he misses. Willie with a series of punches and then the referee starts the match.
Mack with a flying kick and a clothesline to send Sam to the floor. Sam moves on a pescado attempt and Mack lands on his feet. John tries to distract Mack, but it does not work. Mack with a chop and they return to the ring. Mack with a near fall. Sam with a kick and chops. Sam with a side head lock. Mack lands awkwardly on a leap frog and Sam with kicks. Mack with an enzuigiri. Mack gets a near fall.
Sam with an STO for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sam with a wrist lock and then he walks the ropes but Mack with a wrist lock take down for a near fall. Mack with chops in the corner. Sam with an Irish whip whip but Sam with a forearm from the apron. Sam comes off the turnbuckles and Mack with a punch to the midsection. Willie with a Samoan drop. Mack gets back to his feet and he hits a moonsault for a near fall. Sam with a forearm and Mack fires back. They continue the exchange.
They go to chops and then Sam with forearms. Mack with a pop up punch. John grabs the leg and gets on the apron. Mack punches John off the apron. Sam gets Mack up for a Death Valley Driver followed by a 450 splash for the three count.
Winner: Sam Adonis
We go to Sam Leterna with Mance Warner on the stage.
She asks Mance about what is going on with him.
Mance says he has a light beer and Sam Adonis asks him why is he ruining his moment. Sam pushes Mance and he tells Mance he doesn’t belong here. Mance spits beer in Sam’s face and then he punches John.
Sam and John attack Mance and they make their way to the ring. John kicks Mance a few times. Sam gets a leather strap and then John puts Mance’s hat on after warming it up. Sam wraps the strap around Mance’s neck and John holds Mance.
Referees try to stop John and Sam and they finally let Mance go but continues to hold the strap around Mance’s head and he chokes Mance while John poses.
We go to commercial.
We are back with the Never Say Never Control Center.
We go to Alex Kane with Mr. Thomas in the BOMAYE Room. Alex says they don’t fight for free. Court has some tight pockets and Thomas says Court is cheap. Alex says the man behind the BOMAYE Fight Club has the money and they are going to have the Big Apple Grapple. If you can pin him or tap him out, you get the cash. It is not going to happen in New York because he has the people behind him.
Alex and Thomas mention that BOMAYE is for the people.
The fans will bring the weapons for the Tag Title Match between The Calling and the Samoan Swat Team.
Tracy Williams will face Timothy Thatcher.
B3CCA will be performing at Never Say Never.
Taya is in the back and she wants to know what is going on with your lives. The mic goes out and she is told about the technical problems.
Taya says there is a reason why she is leaving. It is because of the people who can’t get their s*** straight. That is why she is out.
Winner: Taya Valkyrie (with John Hennigan) versus Delmi Exo for the MLW Featherweight Championship
They have words for each other before locking up. Taya pie faces Delmi on the break and Delmi pie faces Taya. They lock up and Taya backs Delmi into the corner and she chops Delmi a few times. Delmi with a drop kick and an uppercut into the corner. Delmi misses a knee in the corner when Taya goes to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Taya drops Delmi on the apron. Taya sends Delmi into the ring post. John chokes Delmi while Taya talks to the referee. Taya with chops. Taya with a back drop driver onto the apron. Taya gets a near fall. Delmi with punches but Taya with a forearm to the back. Taya chokes Delmi in the corner. Taya with a leg drop to the lower midsection and she gets a near fall. Taya works on the neck. Delmi with elbows and Taya with a kick and a double stomp for a near fall.
Taya with forearms in the corner followed by an Irish whip but she goes shoulder first into the ring post when Delmi moves. Delmi with forearms but she misses a kick and hits a back heel kick. Delmi with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Taya with kicks but Delmi kicks back. Delmi with a Pedigree for a near fall. Delmi with an elbow into the corner followed by a second and third one. Delmi with a fourth but Taya with a boot on the fifth attempt. Taya gets a near fall after a Blue Thunder Bomb. Taya sets for Road to Valhalla but Delmi with elbows and a standing switch. John grabs Delmi’s leg and Taya with a rollup. Delmi counters but John distracts the referee. Delmi stops short of John on the apron and Taya kicks John off the apron when Delmi moves.
Delmi with a kick and the Delmi Driver for the three count.
Winner: Delmi Exo (new champion)
After the match, Delmi celebrates her victory in the ring.
