The new documentary on one of the original WWF celebrity crossover performers Cyndi Lauper Let The Canary Sing premiered this week at The Beacon Theater as part of the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC. Her journey into professional wrestling is covered, but I'm not sure how deeply. The first review of the film from The Hollywood Reporter can be read right here. I am seeing the film shortly and will have more on her WWF excursion as its covered in the film.
