WHO WILL PREVAIL AT 2023 WWE MONEY IN THE BANK IN LONDON?

By Kendall Jenkins on 2023-06-12 19:45:00

Following an incredible WWE Night of Champions in Jeddah, all eyes now turn to the next major event on the WWE global calendar.

The international profile of WWE continues to grow and whilst not every sportsbook or betting site chooses to engage with the sport, the bookmakers who do are always on the lookout for the best odds, offers and promotions.

Finding the best betting agency when it comes to WWE betting can sometimes be a little difficult but with plenty of options out there on the market, punters are generally spoilt for choice when it comes to WWE gambling.

Inevitably, it is the biggest events on the calendar that attract the biggest traction from a WWE gambling perspective and the Money in the Bank event at the O2 Arena in London, promises to be a memorable occasion.

First held back in 2010, the WWE Money in the Bank match is a unique contest, which heralds from the ladder matches held by the WWE in the mid-1990’s and early 2000’s.

Essentially, all of the wrestlers in the ring when the line-up is announced are facing off to get their hands on a briefcase suspended at the top of the ring.

In order to do this, they are fighting their way to be able to climb the ladder and remove the suspended briefcase, therefore bagging the ‘money in the bank’.

The winner of this event is then able to cash in the contents of the briefcase at any stage over the next WWE season and previous winners of the event include Seth Rollins, Kane, Brock Lesnar and John Cena – testament to the prestige in which the event is held.

Here are some of the names that are sure to be in contention for WWE Money in the Bank glory in 2023:

Ricochet

The newly crowned WWE International Champion Ricochet was one of the first fighters to qualify for the Money in the Bank match in 2023 and he looks to be a serious contender.

Having plied his trade the world over, Ricochet comes into this one with plenty of experience and he will be up for the battle.

Shinsuke Nakamura

Veteran Shinsuke Nakamura is another fighter who has been around the block and how he would love to clinch a title as illustrious as this here in the WWE.

Few fighters in the world are as decorated as Nakamura and he should have plenty of guile and knowhow in order to climb up that ladder and put the money in the bank.

LA Knight

Few fighters have seen their careers ebb and flow in the way that LA Knight has but he is back in the WWE and clearly keen to make a statement.

He is another competitor that is well-versed at this level and clinching the Money in the Bank crown would be one of the most prestigious accolades of his career thus far.

Baron Corbin

A previous winner of this event, Baron Corbin knows what it takes to climb the ladder and have the briefcase within his grasp.

He will need to overcome the dangerous Butch, if he is to take his place amongst the runners and riders in London but he will be one of the key men to beat, if he gets there.

Regardless of how it pans out, the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank event promises to be one for the ages, with every fighter keen to etch their name into WWE folklore.
