It is Friday and AEW Rampage was recorded after AEW Dynamite at the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our commentary team is Excalbur, Jim Ross, and Tony Schiavone.
Ethan Page, Big Bill, and Lee Moriarty vs Rey Fenix, Penta, and Bandido
Ethan Page signed his contract for this match before Matt Hardy gained control of his contract. Thanks for the backfill, Tony Schiavone.
Fenix and Page start off the match, and they immediately run the ropes with Fenix getting a hurricanrana, and then Page answers with one of his own. Page gets a stalling vertical, but Fenix reverses it into a small package for two. Fenix gets a drop kick and Page is knocked back into his corner where he tags in Lee.
Bandido tags in and they trade chops. They move to running the ropes and Bandido goes up top for a tornado cross body followed by a tijeras. Penta tags in as does Bill and Penta steps to him and does the No Fear, but Bill grabs his throat. Petna chops his way free and gets a thrust kick. Penta works Bill over with kicks and tries to leap into him, but Bill grabs him. Bandido and Fenix hit Bill with super kicks and then drop Page and Lee off the apron. Bill is sent over the top rope by Penta.
As everyone else fights on the floor, Penta goes for a dive, and Bill stops him with a right hand. Bill works over Penta on the outside as everyone else keeps fighting at ringside. Penta is rolled into the ring and Bill throws right hands. Bill works over Penta in the corner as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Penta is fighting his way free and tags in Bandido. Bandido gets cut off by Bill and is tossed into Bill’s corner. Page is tagged in, and he and Lee knock Fenix and Penta off the apron. Page gets a power slam after a triple team on Bandido for two. Bandido slips free of the Ego’s Edge with an insigiri and then tags in Fenix. Fenix dodges attacks and takes out Lee, then hits the Tiger Fade kick on Page. Bill tries to stop him, but Fenix escapes and tags in Penta.
They take him down with a series of kicks and Bill rolls out of the ring. Bandido runs toward Penta, who hoists him into the air for a tornado dive onto Bill and Lee. Penta hits a pump handle slam on Page for two. Fenix is tagged in and they take out Page with kicks. Bandido hits a missile drop kick. Fenix takes out Lee with a rolling cutter. They then hit the Fear Factor on Lee on the apron, which I hear is the hardest part of the ring. Bandido tries for a back flip onto Page, but Page gets the knee up and sets up Bandido for the Ego’s Edge.
We then hear Matt Hardy, who says that they expected more from him. Matt, Jeff, and Brother Zay come out and Jeff says they gave Page two good luck gifts and he has to use them. Page pulls out the Jeff Hardy Arm Wraps, allowing Bandido to get the 21 plex for the pin and the win.
Winners: Rey Fenix, Penta, and Bandido
Next up is QTV, and I am sorry they are still doing that.
Powerhouse Hobbs vs The Already In The Ring Caleb Crush
Caleb actually gets in an insigiri before he eats a spine buster and watches the lights as the ref counts three.
Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs
Renee has a short interview segment with Wardlow and Arn Anderson. Arn lets us know that Brock Anderson will be fine, he’s a tough guy. Arn then says the attack by Christian Cage and Luchasaurus that it’s not ok, and they should have finished it because what goes around comes around. Wardlow says when you disrespect Arn Anderson, it comes at a price. He then says Jake Hager has asked for a title match, and after that, Cage and Luchasaurus’s days are done.
The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn vs The Spanish Announce Project (Serpentico, Angelico, and Luther)
Bowens and Angelico start off and after Bowen’s shenanigans, Angelico pops him in the face. They run the ropes and Bowens gets a drop kick. Sirpentico tags in and Bowens tags in Caster. Serpentico gets worked over in the corner and then gets an inverted atomic drop before Caster mocks him. Caster tosses him out of the ring, and Luther comes into the ring. Gunn tosses Luthor to the outside and Angelico gets the Scissor Me Timbers.
Serpentico interrupts the scissor party and Gunn pops him in the face. Gunn then works over Luther in the corner. Caster is tagged in and we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Caster has been the baby face in peril through the break and he is able to tag in Gunn. Gunn cleans house and when Gunn starts to show off, Angelico gets an insigiri and Luther covers for two. Bowens takes over and sends Angelico to the floor. Bowen puts Serpentico in a fireman’s carry and Caster drop kicks Serpentico in the head. Luther takes The Arrival and Caster tags in for the mic drop, the pin, and the win.
Winners: The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn
Renee Paquette is on stage and brings out Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and a guitar. She asks what is going on, Karen grabs the mic and says that the Dramatic Diva is in the building, and calls out Aubrey Edwards. Mark Briscoe comes out with Aubrey and Jeff holds Karen back. Aubrey says that AEW will not sanction a match between them and she says if she sees Karen anywhere, she will kick her ass.
Mark tells everyone to simmer down. He says that while they will not sanction a one on one match, they will allow mixed tag team action. Sonjay volunteers Jay Lethal and Jeff to work with Karen for the match. Mark says no one fights like Family, and Poppa Briscoe will be joining Mark and Aubrey. Sonjay acts as if he’s been told he will be battered and deep fried as we are not told when this match will be.

Skye Blue vs Nyla Rose vs Mercedes Martinez vs Britt Baker in a Winner gets a title match 4 way
Skye and Nyla fight in the ring while Baker and Martinez work outside the ring on the floor. Martinez makes it back in the ring and after she pulls down the rope to send Nyla to the outside and knocks down Martinez, she and Baker trade kicks. And it becomes Nyla and Martinez fighting. Shafir grabs Martinez, and Shida goes after her and chases her to the back as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Nyla is setting up for the guillotine leg drop on Martinez, who is draped across the top rope. Baker shoves Nyla off the top and Blue goes to the top instead. Martinez gets a high boot on Blue, and Baker gets a sling blade on Martinez for one only. Martinez rolls out of the ring. Blue comes in and she and Baker trade blows and kicks. Blue gets a thrust kick and then hits a series of kicks ending with an insigiri for two, broken up by Martinez.
Martinez tries for a suplex of Baker, but Baker reverses it for a surprise roll up for two. Baker then tries to get the lock jaw, but Blue also locks in a half crab. Nyla gets a kick on Blue which breaks everyone up. Baker runs into a side slam from Nyla, and Martinez breaks it up with a running knee. Nyla and Martinez battle in the ring and Martinez gets a backdrop suplex. Baker then gets the stomp on Nyla, but runs into a right hand from Martinez. As Baker and Martinez fight, Blue gets a Code Blue on Nyla for the pin and the win.
