During today's Ring of Honor TV taping in Orlando, Tony Khan announced that Stokely Hathaway and Jerry Lynn had been "named to the ROH Board of Directors" going forward, with Hathaway obviously set to play the heel foil to Jerry Lynn's babyface. The pair will be the ROH "Matchmakers" going forward.
We have heard from some readers who have wondered if this meant Khan was actually replacing himself with Hathaway and Lynn running the ROH brand.
That is absolutely not the case and was never even intimated. Khan is backstage running the ROH taping and is still the person in charge of booking and the administrative duties for that brand. That has not changed.
Lynn and Hathaway will be portraying those roles on camera, nothing more.
