I went to the show tonight in White Plains, NY, fantastic effort by WWE!!
Thyey had everyone there minus Roman and Lesnar that you’d want and they delivered! Below are quick results:
KO and Sami retained tag team championships over Viking Raiders. Fans were really into both KO and Sami, and KO had playful banter with Sami.
Rhea Ripley retained Smackdown women’s championship over Natalya, in a very hard hitting match. Fans cheered mainly for Rhea.
Austin Theory retains US title over Sheamus, after putting feet on the ropes. Theory got a Brogue Kick after for his troubles.
Gunther w Kaiser retained in a fatal 4 IC title match over Damian Priest, Riddle, and Shinsuke Nakamura. There was one spot where the three challengers all worked together against Gunther, but eventually he pinned Shinsuke.
Cody Rhodes (most over of the night) defeated Finn Balor in a street fight. Good back and forth, end came after Cody suplexed Balor through the table, and then hit Crossrhodes. After Cody went around the ring and took selfies including with my nephew and signed autographs for a good 15 minutes.
Intermission.
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch defeated IYO SKY and Bayley. Becky pinned Bianca after the Bexsploder. You could see how happy Bianca and Becky were working together. They both also took pictures with fans afterwards. Bayley was such a great heel, and these talents had great chemistry.
Usos defeated Ridge Holland and Butch with the one D. The fans really cheered the Usos, for the most part they worked like faces and the Brutes heels as they got booed in many spots.
Seth retained over Miz in a match that got this is awesome chants. Both guys and for that matter every one worked really hard tonight. Seth won with the curb stomp after a pedigree. Seth also took time afterwards to sign autographs and take selfies.
All in all a fantastic show, and the meet and greet was also fantastic.
