WOW - WOMEN OF WRESTLING Episode 35: The Underdog

Gigi Gianni and Amber Rodriguez vs Stephy Slays and Jennifer Flores
Amber and Slays start off and Amber takes down Stephy. They trade takedowns until Flores tags in. Flores and Slays give a double back elbow and Flores gets a two count. Gianni is tagged in and Flores gets a quick roll up for two, followed by another back slide for two. Amber comes into the ring and both her and Gianni get a high wristlock, and Flores uses it to flip the both of them down and escape. Flores is able to dive through Gianni’s legs, trips Gianni and puts on a camel clutch, which is broken up by Amber.
Gianni takes over and slams Flores’s head into the top turnbuckle in her corner. Amber tags in and holds Flores down on the mat, mocking that she can’t tag out. Amber whips Flores pillar to post with a clothesline each time they go into the corner. Amber hits a sidewalk slam for two. Gianni is tagged in and they both work Flores over in the corner. Amber and Gianni work quick tags to keep Flores in their corner.
Flores is able to get a small package on Gianni and Gianni kicks out and pulls Flores back to her corner for more quick tags. Flores is able to get an insigiri on Amber. Amber tags in Gianni, and Flores is able to tag in Slays who, as you would expect, cleans house. Slays gets a bulldog on Gianni for two, broken up by Amber, and Flores comes in as well. Amber hits an Overdrive on Flores who rolls out of the ring. Amber and Gianni get a 3D Face buster on Slays for the pin and the win.
Winners: Gigi Gianni and Amber Rodriguez

Exodus, Genesis, and Ice Cold vs Kandy Krush, Princess Aussie, and Keta Rush
Exodus, Genesis, and Ice Cold attack before the bell, and left in the ring are Krush and Cold, and Krush takes down Cold with a judo toss and a drop toe hold. Cold gets a waistlock and Krsuh uses it as another judo toss and another drop toe hold. Exodus tags in and Krush takes her down with an arm bar, and then tags in Princess Aussie. Krush and Aussie whip Exodus into the ring and take her down with double back elbows. Aussie gets a two count.
Aussie gets a series of hip tosses and tags in Krush. Aussie whips Krush into Exodus in the corner and then Rush tags in and does the same and covers for one. Keta gets a pair of drop kicks, knocking Exodus back into her corner. Rush then gets a head scissor takedown. She tries to whip Exodus into the ropes, but Exodus reverses it and Cold gets a kick to Rush’s back. Genesis tags in and they work over Rush in their corner with quick tags. Exodus’s team works over Rush after Cold sucker punches Aussie and Krush, making them try to charge the ring and being held back by the ref.
Rush dodges a kick while being held by Exodus, and Exodus is knocked backward, knocking Cold off the apron. Rush makes it to tag in Aussie who, you guessed it, cleans house. Aussie gets a cutter for two, broken up by Genesis, who is tossed from the ring. Krush tags in and as Aussie dives into Genesis. Krush gets a fireman’s carry slam on Exodus for two, broken up by Cold. Cold tags in and hits a facebuster on Krush for two.
Cold knocks Aussie off the apron, but misses Rush, who springboards into a spear from the outside. Krush goes to the second buckle and hits a leaping punch for the pin and the win.
Winners: Kandy Krush, Princess Aussie, and Keta Rush
We get a recap of the issues between the Heavy Metal Sisters.
Fury vs Reina Del Rey
Fury clubs away at Del Rey. They go to the ropes where Del Rey gets a series of knee strikes. Fury looks dazed, but when Del Rey runs at her, she dodges and hits a kick and a DDT for two. Fury goes to the top and Del Rey meets her there. Del Rey puts Fury on her shoulders and drops her face first on the top turnbuckle. Del Rey hits a rope assist slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Reina Del Rey
After the match Del Ray says she will beat anyone from the Heavy Metal Sisters to the world champion.
We get a video of Lana Starr’s team talking about how tonight’s match is no real competition.
Penelope Pink (WOW World Champion) vs Tiki Chamorro
They lock up and Pink shoves Tiki to the mat. They lock up again and Pink forces Tiki into the corner and slaps her as they break. Tiki hits a Thesz Press and lays in forearms. Tiki rolls up Lana for two. Tiki then hits a back elbow and a drop kick for two. Pink charges at Tiki in the corner, and Tiki uses her shoulder to put Pink up and over. Tiki goes for a strike, but Pink blocks it and hits an elbow to the midsection on Tiki.
Pink hits a neckbreaker in the ropes and preens for the crowd. Pink then chokes Tiki on the second rope. When the ref pulls her off and admonishes her, Lana Starr attacks Tiki in the ropes from the outside. Tiki is able to get a jaw breaker and misses a clothesline in the corner. Pink is able to put Tiki on her back and slams Tiki into the turnbuckle. Pink gets a two count.
Pink hits a body slam and then a cartwheel splash for a two count. Pink slams into turnbuckles all around the ring. Pink goes up top to start pounding on Tiki, but Tiki escapes and pulls Pink’s feet off the ropes. Tiki gets a high kick and a drop toe hold. She follows with a drop kick and Tiki gets a facebuster. Pink is the ropes and Tiki tries for the Tiger Fade Kick, but Pink dodges it. Pink puts Tiki in the fireman’s carry, but Tiki gets out of it, but Pink is able to get a kick to Tiki's midsection.
Pink whips Tiki into the corner and when Tiki goes for a hurricanrana, Pink stops her and then swings Tiki’s head into the bottom turnbuckle. Tiki gets a small package for two. Pink gets a snap mare and then a diving clothesline. Pink hits a whiplash neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner and still WOW Women’s Champion: Penelope Pink
Lana Starr says people are lucky to be in the ring with Penelope Pink. Pink then gloats about her victory.
