WWE RAW REPORT: IF YOU DON'T SEE A DOCTOR . . . YOU CAN'T NOT BE MEDICALLY CLEARED, A CONTRACT SIGNING, RAQUEL HAS A PARTNER, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2023-05-22 23:00:00

Your announcers are Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick.

We see Cody Rhodes arriving earlier tonight looking like a child in a candy store and he is attacked by Brock Lesnar who throws him into production cases and beer kegs.  Cody is sent into the gate.  Brock hits Cody in the arm with a keg.

Brock walks away while Cody writhes in pain.

Paul Heyman is in the ring and he introduces himself and he says he had nothing to do with what we just saw.  Paul says that is something he can testify to is just a mere example of what Cody Rhodes is in for this Saturday when he attempts to slay Brock Lesnar.

Paul says he understands how much his special appearance on Raw was so well received that he was invited back this week to enlighten you on the way on the island of relevancy, he stopped by the hell hole that is Hershey, Pennsylvania just to hype you on one simple fact.  There are three main events at Night of Champions, capped off with the battle when Kevin Owens and his rat bastard of a partner, Sami Zayn will LOSE the Tag titles back to the Bloodline.  With the Usos sitting proud at home, watching on television, the new champions will be Solo and Roman.Reigns.

Kevin Owens' music plays and he makes his way to the stage and he is joined by Sami Zayn as Paul Heyman leaves through the crowd.

Sami wants to know where did Heyman go.  He says he never saw anyone scurry off so fast.  Sami says they are feeling pretty good.  They are heading into the biggest possible title defense they can have when they face Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.  Sami says this is very personal to him and there isn't anything to say because he already said it to Roman's face.

Kevin says he has something to say.  A few weeks ago, Roman dedicated the victory he thought he would have to the Wild Samoan.  Kevin says he will dedicate their victory at Night of Champions to the true pillars of the Bloodline . . . Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Sami says that is pretty good.  That is at Night of Champions, but they have business to deal with tonight.  They have a six man tag match against Imperium.

Speak of Imperium, their music plays and they make their way to the ring.

Kevin and Sami prepare for a fight and drop the mics and title belts.

Gunther tells Vinci and Kaiser to surround them.

They get on the apron and . . .

Matt Riddle makes his way to the ring to join Kevin and Sami, because he was announced as their tag team partner tonight.

Imperium feels they are good for now so they head to the back, but it wa a fake out and they go to the ring.

All six men battle until Vinci and Kaiser are sent to the floor.  Riddle with a jumping knee and then Kevin and Sami send Gunther over the top rope to the floor.

Byron Saxton is standing next to Cody's locker room door and Adam Pearce emerges.

Byron asks for an update and Adam says that Cody is still being checked out.  Byron asks about rumors that Cody suffered a broken arm and Adam has nothing to say.

Bronson Reed, earlier today, says that he should be the one facing Gunther.  He did not win because of one man, Ricochet.  He will learn that actions have consequences and you will suffer, as will anyone who gets in his way.

We are back with more of the sit down interview with Seth Rollins and Corey Graves.

Seth says now is the perfect time for a new World Championship.  They can do it the way it was supposed to be done.  Corey asks Seth about Roman and his title reign.  Seth says he loves Roman Reigns but he doesn't like Roman Reigns.  That is brotherhood.  He will always have love for that man.  He was always there for Seth.  The person he has become and the champion he has become, he has no respect for that.  Roman has been poisoned by his own ego.  He has taken opportunities away from everybody else.  That is as selfish as you can be.  Seth says he wants to be champion so we can forget about Roman Reigns.

Corey asks Seth what does Raw look like with Seth on top.  He says it can be the land of opportunity.  He says he will be around and he wants people to come to take it from him.  Someone has to carry the torch when he is gone and when Roman is gone.

Corey points out that Seth has to face AJ to win the title.  Seth says AJ is one of the greatest in ring performers of all time.  AJ is special.  They have done this dance before.

We see footage of a match between AJ and Seth in 2006 and AJ says he knew Seth would be a star some day.

Seth says he is at the top of his game and no one can touch him now.  He says he is feeling invincible.

Corey asks why is Night of Champions different.  Seth says this is it.

We will get more later.

We take a look at how we got to Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor later tonight.

Byron approaches Finn and Priest and Damian yells at Byron for interrupting Finn when getting ready for his match.  Priest starts to talk in Spanish.

Finn wants Byron to congratulate them for beating the tag champs last week.  He says tonight he faces Nakamura, the man who cost Priest a shot at the World Title.  If you disrespect one member of THE Judgment Day, you disrespect them all.  After he is done with Nakamura, he will leave Nakamura lucky enough to let Damian get a piece of him.

We are back and Zoey Stark says greatness comes from humble beginnings and giving your all.  Until you become undisputable.  She says she is clear, calculated, and vicious.  You are not going like her because she is going to tear all of your idols apart and expose their weaknesses.  The era of heroes is over and the Era of Zoey Stark begins.

Brock Lesnar walks past and he tells Ali to get a life.
