Several readers as well as our own Eric Denton sent word it appeared the former Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mone, was injured at tonight's New Japan Pro Wrestling event in California.
Towards the end of her bout against Willow Nightingale, the two were battling on the ropes in a corner when Mone dropped down to the floor and appeared she may have possibly injured her right leg going down as she appeared to having trouble putting weight on it after that sequence:

Mone returned to the ring and locked in a Crossface submission, but Nightingale battled out. Mone was nailed with a Doctor Bomb, neglecting to kick out from the pinfall attempt, resulting in the referee stopping when he should have slapped the mat for a third time. Nightingale then hit the maneuver again and scored the pin, becoming the first-ever NJPW Strong Women's Champion.
Mone was carried from the ring after the bout in the arms of a NJPW ring attendant.
