NXT held a live event/house show from Orlando, FL at the Englewood Neighborhood Center tonight.
Prior to the show, Roxanne Perez, Edris Enofe, and Malik Blade did a Q&A for those that wanted to pay to ask them questions and get pictures with them after.
Match 1) Nathan Frazier defeated Kale Dixon
Match 2) Fallon Henley, Valentina Feroz, and Yulisa Leon, defeated Kiana James, Monika Klisara, and Stevie Turner when Fallon pinned Klisara.
Bron Breakker cut a promo before the match running down the crowd and talking about Carmelo Hayes. Bron says Melo is not even in the same ballpark as him and says that he will prove it to Melo, Melo’s family, and all the fans at Battleground that Melo is only walking around with the title because Bron let him. Brooks Jensen comes out and says that Bron sucks, not the fans. Brooks challenges him to a match.
Match 3) Bron Breakker defeated Brooks Jensen with a Spear and a Steiner Recliner. Bron attacks Brooks after the match locking in the Steiner Recliner until multiple referees came out and Bron broke the hold.
Match 4) Hank Walker and Tank Ledger defeated The Bayou Boys (Beau Morris and Hayden Pittman) when Hank pinned Hayden after a double team move with Tank.
Before the next match, Noam Dar cut a promo. He came out without the Heritage Cup and said the people of Orlando do not deserve to see it and Edris does not deserve a title shot. He says this will be a non-title match.
Match 5) Noam Dar defeated Edris Enofe with a roll up with feet on the ropes.
Dragon Lee came out. He reminded Noam of next Sunday’s Battleground. Dragon Lee says he will be the next Heritage champion.
There was a brief intermission.
Match 6) Ivy Nile defeated Gina Delucia via Dragon Sleeper. This was Gina’s live event debut.
Tiffany Stratton came out after and congratulated Ivy on another win that nobody cares about and mentions her not being in the women’s tournament. Tiffany tells Ivy to get out of the ring. Ivy challenged Tiffany to get her silicone ass in the ring and an impromptu match was on.
Match 7) Ivy Nile defeated Tiffany Stratton via DQ when Tiffany attacked Ivy in the corner and did not stop after the referee’s five count.
Luca Crusifino came out and mentioned someone illegally parking while wearing a lucha mask outside. He mentioned this not only violating parking laws but also reckless driving from a mask hindering driving ability. He told Axiom to get out here.
Match 8) Axiom defeated Luca Crusifino via Golden Ratio.
Match 9) Dragon Lee and Trick Williams defeated Dante Chen and Boa. Lee bit a suicide dive to Dante on the floor while Trick hit Boa with a Cyclone Kick for the win.
Edris Enofe came to introduce Malik Blade giving him a new spiffed up intro.
Match 10) Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) retained the NXT Heavyweight Championship over Malik Blade (with Edris Enofe) in about eleven minutes when Carmelo sprung backwards off the ropes and hit an implant DDT on Malik. Malik got some big near falls toward the end with some of the crowd very fired up for him.
After the match, Carmelo took the microphone and commended Malik’s effort and led the crowd in a We Are NXT chant. Carmelo, Trick, Malik, and Edris went around ringside to take pictures with fans to close the show.
