5/18/23 - Worcester, MA

Spotlight match:  Kaia McKenna vs Zayda Steele

Welcome back Kaia! It’s a test of magic! Zayda gets wrapped right up. Side slam for two. Zayda catches her with a knee and tries to stomp her out. Kaia with the reversal as Steele can’t stop taunting. Big side slam and Kaia tries to put her to sleep. Steele runs her into the buckles and hits an Unprettier for the quick three. 

Winner: Zayda Steele

What a main event we’re Getting tonight! Miracle Generation vs the returning Waves & Curls?!? Let’s stack this live show even more! 

Rich Palladino brings out our special guest tonight, D-Lo Brown! He’s here because he heard about the killer shows and talent happening on Thursdays! He’s ready to take in the wildest crowd and show you can get in Worcester!

Match 1: Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister and Brick City Boyz) vs 50 Cal, CPA & Johnny Rivera

Oh my god Big Business has matching gear I love it. Let’s see if Bacon makes the clock? 50 Cal starts but the Brick Boyz quickly cheat and take over. Tag to the Wild Hound and he hits a double clothesline…Bacon with the distraction and Victor takes out. Big suplex for two! CPA, Bacon off the corner…flying shot to the Boyz! Rip off a shirt! He tries a dive, bacon hits a belly to belly…bricks eject the others and CPA eats a running brick end for the win in about 3:15. Guess I don’t get my Hundo.

Winners: Big Business

Match 2: Rebecca J Scott vs Tiara James

I’m calling Scott “Better Becca” from now on. This is a quick start with multiple quick pin attempts. Tiara with a head scissors! Scott shoulder blocks her down..James snatched her up with a Samoan drop! Tiara with the shoulder blocks into the corner. Scott is struggling but Tiara hits a huge gutbuster on the shoulder…for two! Huge suplex! Scott’s back is looking trashed. James sees it too…running splash to the lower back for two. Scott with a knee reversal…sling blade! Two shining wizards and a dropkick don’t keep Tiara down. James tries a spinebuster…Scott snatches up a guillotine choke…James pushes off and hits the spine buster for the win!

Winner: Tiara James

Love Doug is brought out to do color commentary for this next one. Bakabella looks SO excited to give up his seat.

Match 3: Antonio Christiano Zambrano (w/ Alex Cypher) vs Teddy Goodz 

ACZ struggles with fan favorite Goodz in the early moments. Teddy has the wrist and just twists the hell out of it. Teddy runs ACZ right into the buckles at high velocity. Cypher shows the red card?!? Teddy distracted and ACZ tries to capitalize. Big slam! He needs a hydration break. Who is he? Mortar? Antonio goes low and is so proud of himself that Goodz that Teddy rolls him up, atomic drop and he’s unloaded RNG a clip of big elbows! ACZ gets a foot up….he escapes the backpack stunner…he goes for the penalty kick but Teddy rolls him up. Did he have some tights?!? Awwww, turnabouts fair play! 

Winner: Teddy Goodz

Match 4: Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs Vaughn Vertigo

Bakabella is such a straight shooter he threatens to shoot Vertigo. Channing is expecting a hometown welcome. We do. He loves it. He is so confident he gives Vertigo the first shot and he almost gets his clock cleaned with a flying knee. And again. Vaughn keeps sending Channing off the apron. Thomas finally chokes him on the top. Vaughn right back into, he scares Sidney off! Dive to the floor! Huge swanton to the back but Channing pops up and blasts a lariat and a piledriver for the sudden win!

Winner: Channing Thomas

Match 5: Delmi Exo vs Megan Bayne 

I remember this match going down at WWR+ and Delmi gave Bayne a run for her money there. This is a reinvigorated Megasus and the God Queen doesn’t have a good answer for these early moments. Sudden German out of the corner! Bayne kicks out! Exo pummeling her and trying to take out the leg. Delmi can’t get it done as Bayne starts firing back and takes her off the feet. Big slam to Delmi! Big side slam for two! She goes for Bow down but Exo squirms away. Exo hits a Vader bomb! She’s super upset as Megan keeps kicking out! Exo screams in her face and calls her a loser? Uh oh. The Bow Down tombstone ends Delmi’s night. Damn.

Winner: Megan Bayne

Match 6: Brian Milonas (w/ Mortar) vs Rex Lawless (w/ RJ Rude)

This is a big boy battle. Kaijus collide. The crowd loves their pectoral Poseidon but Milonas drops his top and goes to work, flattening the fish man. Rex dodges a poor idea leg drop off the buckles…Milonas is stunned! Rex can barely lift him and drops him on his tailbone. Rex with a Vader bomb for two! Brian comes running but Rex hits the choke bomb! Mortar with the distraction, Rude cuts it off but it’s enough for Milonas to hit a cross body and earthquake splash for the win!

Winner: Brian Milonas

Match 7: Gabriel Skye vs Marcus Mathers

Hello, this is Nostradamdamus and I’m here to predict that this match is gonna f***. Skye flies on his a knee and lariat for a close two! Marcus dodges and Skye is out…Mathers torpedos out at him! High crossbody for two! Roll through back kick! Northern lights for two! Gabe out, huge meteroa for two! This is just hard hitting back and forth, huge kicks and chops lighting each other up. Marcus with a rebound stunner and blue Thunder….lionsault for two! Skye with a huge kick and back suplex folds Marcus I  half for two. This is awesome. Crowd is wonderfully split here. Skye dropping slaps as he taunts Marcus back to life. Trading so many forearms…Marcus winning the exchange as Skye buckles. Marcus catches Skye off the ropes, powerbomb! Bozo buster ends Skye’s night. Wow. Run this back ANY TIME.

Winner: Marcus Mathers

Match 8: Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & BRG w/ Alec Price) vs Shook Crew (Bobby Orlando & Bryce Donovan)

This crowd is fire for this. Price is made to hold the stolen title belts. Is this one of his last rides with the ranch? BRG takes a bunch of punishment from Bobby and Bryce but a well timed real New Jersey cowboy sends Bryce flying and the ranch gets a ton of damage in on the one lunged Angel. Bryce with a jawbreaker…BRG with a ddt…he’s clowning too much and Bryce hits the black hole slam! Tag to Bobby! Stetson getting railed by mom. BRG interferes…Bobby is shook, huge spear! Stetson knocks Bryce off the corner! Stetson goes for the belts but Alec doesn’t want to let him use them. BRG tries to help but Bobby runs in, drops Steve and gets BRG with the rollup for the win!!!!

Winners: Shook Crew

Stetson is NOT HAPPY with the Prize right now. 

Match 9: B3CCA vs Shannon LaVangie

Becca with shotgun right into the buckles and throwing hard shots to Shannon’s chest. Shannon with a thez press and the forearms come raining down. Becca catches her on the ropes…hangman’s double stomp to the apron! Becca just tearing at Shannons hair. These ladies slugging it out before Shannon rolls her into the turnbuckle. Trouble maker lariats! Becca with a head scissor off the top! Huge sitout bomb for two! Shannon dodges a double stomp, avoids a bomb, matrixes out of the lariat…Becca is furious and comes running into a destroyer! Kick out! Becca yelling in her face, Shannon drops her with a slap! They brawl into the crowd….back and forth as the ref counts them both out! Becca drags her back in and just assaults her…Shannon escapes a Gotch piledriver…and they trade shots until the refs pull them both apart. The locker room clears out to pull them apart. The crowd chanting to let them fight! Becca’s bleeding from the moon th as she furious claws at her rival and she’s dragged out of the room. Wild. 

Winner: Double Count Out

Match 10: Ichiban(c) vs Dan Barry (for the Wrestling Open Championship) 

It’s not the first defense Ichiban would want, being without his belt…but this is gonna rule. I’m torn. I love both these guys.Dan with the early control of the wrist, Ichiban reversing but Dan flips back into the hold. The champ sends him flying and dives out to the floor…huge chop from the top! Ichiban setting up the finish but Dan pops him up and sends him down! Dan looking frustrated as Ichiban kicks out! Ichiban with the ten punch…Barry body tosses him over! Stomp to the knee! Gutted on the top rope, flying hangman’s knee drop! Both guys are battling back and forth hard…can Dan Barry finally win the big match? Ichiban firing up with a missile dropkick. He wants that flatliner…Barry dodges, enziguri for two! Huge lariat. Lionsault! Ichiban kicks out! Dan Barry hits an Irish Car Bomb!!! Kick out! Quick roll ups….Ichiban with a Michanoku driver! Kickout. Dan blocks telhe flatliner…goes for a tombstone…Ichiban slips it to a destroyer! It’s time! Flatliner connects! Dan Barry is down for the three! Really wanted this for Dan but damn this was good.

Winner: Ichiban 

Sidney Bakabella making fun of Dan from commentary and Barry goes after him. Channing Thomas ambushes him from the back! Ichiban makes the save and chases him off but this sure seems like a new title match incoming!

Match 10: Aaron Rourke vs Love Doug

Rourke is just a sheer jerk to our beloved cupid, walking and chopping him down. Every time Doug comes back, Rourke is there to knock him back down. Huge spinning back kick and slamming Doug’s face into the mat. Cupid Douglas finally hits a German out of the corner…running forearms! Slice of love is dodged?> gcsRourke with a huge make out kiss and kicks Doug’s head off! Razor thin kick out! Doug with the Rebound and a very sexy stack up pin that should make LMK angry for the win!

Winner: Love Doug

Main Event: Waves & Curls ( Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King) (no title tag match)

Well this is gonna be a delight. They start with some rock paper SCISSOR ME WAVES AND CURRRRRRLS. How did W&C both become legal? Traevon tries to pin Jaelyn?!? Miracle breaks it up! Kylon is used to being the big man. Traevon says…no. We get a wave dance and a HUUUUUUUUGE chop. Jaelyn in to complete the combo but Kylon is able to toss him to the buckles and the champs take control. JB taking the heat but tags to Traevon. MG sent flying to the floor, JB takes flight! Huge powerbomb to Dustin for two! Kylon back into….double knee strike to Traevon for two! Tag to Jaelyn! He head scissors Dustin into Kylon! Wave check to Dustin! Kylon barely makes the save! We have one minute left on the clock! Kylon knees Traevon his feet! Handspring cutter and northern lights to JB. Traevon crushes Kylon with a splash. Both teams try to get back up but they collapse as the time limit expires! This was a delightful “house show” style main event. Lots of fun GOOTS but delivered some solid action to pop the crowd. Great to see Waves & Curls back at it!

Winners: Time Limit Draw

The crowd chanting for five more minutes and it looks like we’re gonna get it…but Big Business hits the ring. They look pretty dapper but it looks like our main event is a draw for sure. Big Business is dared to enter the ring but they opt to walk off. Traevon calls out Big Business for a big war in two weeks! Long show…but a damn good one.
