Our great friend David Baldini has Eric Bischoff on the latest edition of his podcast, My Bizness, which you can listen to by clicking here.
Promotional material for the episode notes:
Most people know Eric Bischoff has the brash television personality who, along with “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, led the popular 1990’s faction the New World Order (nWo). What few realize is that behind the scenes, Eric’s career is much more fascinating than what you see on TV.
As the Executive Vice president of World Championship Wrestling, Eric ran the company that, from 1996-1998, supplanted WWE as the top wrestling promotion in the world.
In the 2000s, Eric was the executive producer behind successful reality television shows, such as the Scott Biao VH1 series and “I Want to be a Hilton” on NBC.
David and Eric sit down in this long form interview to discuss all facets of Eric’s comprehensive career, as Eric is extremely open about the milestones that shaped his journey.
Eric has written two books, the first being a New York Times bestseller, and the second being his current release, Grateful, which may be his best work yet. Grateful is not a wrestling book; it is a life book, digging deep into all aspects of success, failure, aging, friendship, family, and mental health; both in the private and public eye.
As many of you know, Dave Scherer and I have appeared in the past on Baldini's podcast, which is always a source of excellent conversation and insight. I expect this to be just as interesting.
