As PWInsider.com has covered in recent months, Graham had been battling a myriad of health issues that required numerous hospitalizations. He was only 79.
One of the greatest promos in pro wrestling history, Graham's physique and gift for gab not only led to a tremendous WWWF Championship reign, beating Bruno Sammartino and holding the belt for almost ten months before losing it to Bob Backlund but inspired a number of stars that followed including Jesse Ventura, Hulk Hogan and Scott Steiner, among others.
