Going forward, once AEW Collision debuts, this will be the expected taping schedule for AEW:
Wednesdays: Live Dynamite followed by taped Rampage for the following Friday.
Saturdays: Live Collision bookended by Ring of Honor taping for the following Thursday.
It should be noted that in recent weeks, since AEW Dark and Dark - Elevation have stopped taping, Dynamite has simply had a few live matches for the arena before going live. We've been told that the feeling among many in the company is that the elimination of the other shows have made the tapings easier to work, have kept the crowds hotter and made producing the overall tapings much less of a weekly hardship and have allowed more focus to go onto Dynamite and Rampage.
We've also been told that the most recent live events in Kentucky and Virginia were seen internally by talents as some of the most fun they've had performing recently and that there was a completely different vibe and "lack of the same type of pressure" that normally exists for TV tapings.
