Any word on Leva Bates' AEW exit?

We are told it was a contract expiring that the company elected not to renew at this time, nothing more.

I was recently searching the WWE website and lo and behold, I searched PWInsider for the hell of it and something called INDUSTRY NEWS came up with references to things the website reported.  What the hell was this and how long did it go on?

It went on for a few months or so.  The idea was that WWE was going to run short news bursts in that section of stories we and other reliable outlets had broken, with the idea that they'd get the audience to go to WWE.com and not outlets like ours.  I guess the strategy didn't work, because eventually they quietly closed it down.

How is that Ivan Koloff is the only former WWWF Champion not in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Well, he deserves to be there for sure.  My feeling is that it should have happened the same year Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund went in, since Koloff was the one who beat Bruno in Madison Square Garden and the Hall was there - and Koloff WAS in attendance that night.  Koloff was a party to the WWE concussion/CTE lawsuit that was eventually thrown out of court and WWE kept a far distance from those involved, which likely prevented Koloff from being inducted before his passing.  If WWE ever revives the Legacy inductees, my guess is Koloff will land there.

I remember a time when you wrote around the build to Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair that you really didn't expect that match to be Flair's last match.  Given that he's never wrestled in WWE again, can you admit you were wrong?

Uh, Flair has wrestled SEVENTEEN TIMES since that retirement match, so, no I cannot.

Any chance of Curry Man in AEW?

If Tony Khan wants some Curry Man, pretty sure you will see some Curry Man.  I don't believe it will be a priority, though.

Any sign of the old Jesse Ventura Grudge Match series or Learning the Ropes with Lyle Alzado streaming somewhere?

I don't believe either have ever been officially licensed to stream somewhere officially.
