We see the six men from Raw and the six men from Smackdown who are going to contend for the World Championship for the Raw brand.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody plays to the crowd by throwing out a DUVAL before asking what they wanted to talk to. Cody says this was his home during the pandemic and he says they made some wonderful memories and it is time to make some new memories tonight. Cody wants to talk about Backlash. He says it was the most watched Backlash. All of the pomp and all of the circumstance. He had to compete against Brock Lesnar. He says this is what he discovered. He found out what Brock is made up because it was all over his fists. He says Brock can be defeated because at Backlash he defeated Brock. The night after Wrestlemania, Brock took away his focus and clarity. It was a fight for survival. Now that Brock is in the rear view mirror, what is in front of him is sitting over there, and it is the World Championship.
Cody says he wants to talk about Night of Champions. Cody asks for them to show the tournament bracket. He says multiple world champions and some of the biggest stars in the business. Cody says he will fight the same way in this tournament until Samantha announces that he is the new World Champion. Cody says he has the honor to say 'Let the Tournament begin'.
Seth Rollins comes out and he stops by Cody before he 'dances' to the ring.
Cathy Kelley is with Damian Priest in the back.
She asks if the loss on Saturday is weighing on him.
Priest says Bad Bunny did his thing, but after a brutal San Juan Street Fight, the name that will live on because an entire island took him down. By himself, he will take down Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins. Then we will see if it is him or Finn Balor who bring the World Championship to The Judgment Day.
Match Number One: Seth Rollins versus Damian Priest versus Shinsuke Nakamura in a Raw World Championship Title Touranment Triple Threat Match
Priest with forearms to Nakamura and Rollins. Priest with punches to Rollins in the corner and then he kicks Nakamura. Priest with a back elbow into the corner. Nakamura with knees and forearms followed by a round kick. Rollins with a knee to send Priest to the floor. They lock up and they go to a stalemate. Nakamura pushes Rollins away on another lock up. Nakamura with a waist lock and Rollins with an elbow. Nakamura iwth a knee and kick followed by a sliding kick to the head. Nakamura puts Rollins in the ropes and hits a sliding German suplex. Priest misses a boot and Nakamura kicks Priest in the leg and hits a running knee to the head. Nakamura with a knee drop off the apron to the back of the head.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest and Rollins exchange forearms until Rollins takes the advantage. Rollins with a flatliner to Nakamura into the turnbuckles. Rollins with a forearm from the apron and a cross body onto Nakamura and Priest. Rollins with a suicide dive to Priest and then he goes to the other side and hits one on Nakamura. Rollins goes for one on Priest and Priest with a forearm arm. Priest with an elbow into the corner and Rollins goes to the floor. Nakamura with punches and kicks to Priest. Priest misses an elbow into the corner. Nakamura puts Priest on the turnbuckles and hits a running knee. Nakamura goes to the turnbuckles for a flying side kick and a near fall.
Nakamura with a waist lock and Rollins with an O'Connor Roll on Nakamura for a near fall. Priest sends Rollins to the apron and then he connects with a forearm to Nakamura. Priest catches Rollins off the ropes and hits a leaping flatliner for a near fall. Nakamura and Priest with boots at the same time. Rollins with a super kick to Priest and Nakamura with a spinning heel kick to Rollins and all three men are down. Rollins with chops to Nakamura and Priest. They all exchange forearms and chops. Priest with knees to Rollins and Nakamura blocks a kick from Priest and hits a thrust kick to the knee. Nakamura with a sleeper to Rollins and a knee to keep Seth from getting to the ropes. Rollins lands on his feet on a reverse exploder. Seth with a rolling elbow to Nakamura. Seth goes up top and Priest crotches Rollins. Priest sets for a Razor's Edge but Priest's knee gives out.
Rollins with Black Out and Nakamura breaks up the cover. Seth yells at Nakamura for breaking up the cover and Nakamura tells Rollins to COME ON. They exchange forearms. Nakamura with a flurry of forearms and punches. Rollins with a rolling elbow and he misses KO. Nakamura with a reverse exploder. Nakamura sets for Kinshasa but Priest with a clothesline to Nakamura and he sends Rollins to the floor. Nakamura with a knee to stop South of Heaven. Nakamura with a rollthrough into a knee bar. Priest tries to fight off the urge to tap since he cannot use the ropes. Rollins with a frog splash onto Nakamura followed by a Pedigree for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins (advances to the Raw Finals)
Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci walk in the back and they announce they are here and Vinci says that Gunther will be here next week.
Kaiser and Vinci see Kevin and Sami.
Kevin says they were talking.
Kaiser says they are here and the Ring General . . .
Sami says they are in the middle of something important and they ask for five minutes.
Vinci says they do not deal with disrespect.
Sami says they will still be Imperium in five minutes. He asks them to come back and they can talk.
Kevin says they are standing right there and it is hard to focus with his finger in his face.
Kaiser says when the Ring General arrives next week, it will put the two of you in a difficult situation. Vinci says if you continue to disrespect us, you will not only put yourself but your titles in danger.
Kevin asks if they are Gunther's henchmen like the Usos being Roman's henchmen. Kevin wonders why does everyone need henchmen.
Sami says they are different than the Usos because they will deal with it in one night. They will do it tonight.
Match Number Two: Otis (with Chad Gable and Maxxine Dupri) versus Mustafa Ali
They lock up and Ali gets on Otis' back and applies a sleeper. Otis with a snap mare to escape. Ali with a drop kick and Otis stays on his feet. Ali with a second drop kick with the same result. Otis with a clothesline. Otis presses Ali over his head and Ali gets to his feet and he punches Otis. Otis sends Ali to the apron. Ali with a shoulder and he flips over Otis to get back into the ring. Otis with a clothesline.Otis with a splash to the corner. Otis is torn between advice from Chad and Maxxine about whether to do the caterpillar.
Otis misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post. Ali with a 450 splash for the three count.
Winner: Mustafa Ali
Miz is in the back and he says you are looking at a two time grand slam winner and he says he is a history maker. He is the true workhorse in this tournament. When he wins the championship and you will put respect on his name.
