WWC ANNIVERSARIO TO AIR AS PPV FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER NEXT MONTH

World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, the promotion run by the Colon Family, will present their Anniversario 50 as a live PPV on FITE.TV for the first time in the event's history on  6/24 at the 12,000-seat Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum on Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  The current plan is for the event to have only Spanish language commentary.  The event will be priced at $19.99.

The show will be headlined by WWC Universal Champion Intelecto Cinco Estrellas vs. Carlito Colon.

Also announced thus far is Gallo The Producer vs. Chicky Starr and Eddie Colon vs. Rey Gonzales Sr.

Former WWE star Epico, Orlando Colon, is now booking the promotion.

WWC's TV series airs weekly on Sunday afternoons on WAPA  locally on the Island at 1 PM EST.

Last year's Anniversario was headlined by Intelecto 5 Estrellas winning WWC Universal Title in a 3-Way Match over champion Xavant and Eddie Colon and Carlito Colon pinning Andrade El Idolo, who was accompanied by Ric Flair.  That led to Carlito's father, WWC owner Carlos Colon coming out to reprise his feud with Flair from the 1980s.
