Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of ISPW Rock N' Wrestling from The Mennan Sports Center in Morristown, NJ. I haven't been here since the night CM Punk won the ROH title, turned heel and stole the belt.
The show's start was delayed a few minutes to accomodate the MASSIVE line for Bret Hart, who is still signing despite 80s Wrestling Con 4 having ended several hours ago.
The show opened with Dirty Dango coming to the ring. He's scheduled to wrestle Eugene. Eugene was going to read a poem but Dango ripped it up. Eugene told him he was really mad now.
U-Gene vs. Dirty Dango
Dango had control early and yelled at him to "Write me a poem." He nailed a series of right hands in the corner and gyrated in U-Gene's face. U-Gene went to the floor, where Dango raked his face. U-Gene returned to the ring but was worked over with right hands. The referee told Dango it was wrestling, not boxing. Dango locked on a side chinlock and yelled that no one cared about U-Gene, which sparked the crowd to get behind him. He kept working over him but U-Gene rolled him up for a surprise pinfall.
Your winner. U-Gene!
Snitsky with Andy Vineberg vs. Afa Jr.
Vineberg, who in another life, was the ECW timekeeper, said the place was a cesspool and the people were the reason middle fingers were invented. He said Snitsky was the biggest man in the history of the sport and someone who could destroy everyone. He said whatever happens to Snitsky's opponent is Snitsky's fault.
Afa Jr. is former WWE star Manu.
They each played to the crowd early. Snitsky dared Afa to nail him with a shoulder tackle, which had no effect. He challenged Snitsky to do the same, but instead dropkicked him when Snitsky rebounded off the ropes. Snitsky went to the floor to regroup. Afa attacked him and they fought through the crowd, including smashing Snitsky into a drum kit's cymbal. Back inside the ring, Snitsky gained control and stomped Afa. He nailed a series of shoulderblocks and a slam before drilling Afa with a big elbow for a two count.
Snitsky missed a charge into the corner, allowing Afa to make the comeback and hit a Samoan Drop. Vineberg got on the apron to argue with the referee. Afa decked him but that allowed Snitsky to use a foreign object to strike him and score the pin.
Your winner, Snitsky!
The referee realized the criminal act and reversed the decision.
Your winner by DQ, Afa Jr.!
Michael Mars with Nicky Benz vs. Tony Atlas
Atlas, 69, was a "mystery opponent." He came out to Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA.
Mars tried to show off his power early. They locked up and Mars thrust him back inton the buckles. He worked over Atlas for a while but Tony made the comeback and nailed a series of chops in the corner. Atlas locked on a sleeper but Benz distracted him. Mars nailed Atlas from behind with Benz's shoe and scored the pin.
Your winner, Michael Mars!
Atlas took the mic and thanked everyone for supporting professional wrestling. He said that when he was a kid, his heroes were The Incredible Hulk, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. He said when he grew up, his heroes were now people like the fire department and police department that keep us safe and people in the armed forces that fight to keep the world free. He said everyone should thank a veteran. He led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance and said, "God bless the USA." He led a USA chant.
Superstar Danny Morrison vs. Val Venis.
Morrison is former ECW star Danny Doring, now wrestling under his given name. He played up to some Macho Man cosplayers in the crowd.
Venis attacked Morrison from behind as they were doing back and forth mic work. He chopped away at him and nailed a clothesline. The crowd chanted "Superstar" at Morrison. Venis began attacking him, asking if he believed he could beat Val Venis and that no one beats him. Doring made a comeback and scored the pinfall.
Your winner, Danny Morrison!
Venis argued that his shoulder was up to no avail. He took the mic and said he came here and saw a man who looked up to him but got greedy and attacked Morrison from behind. He said he cost himself the match and cheating never pays.
ISPW Tag Team Champions The Now vs. The Powers of Pain vs. The Headbangers.
The Now's Vik Dalishus started with Thrasher. Lots of Headbangers shenanigans. Powers of Pain got involved. The Champs retained. The Powers of Pain and The Headbangers hugged after. The crowd applauded Powers of Pain and chanted "They still got it."
The Warlord took the mic and said that it was an honor to be in the ring with The Headbangers and to be in the ring with a team from today's generation is an honor. He said there aren't many of them left and do what they can to give everyone a great show. He said the fans make The Powers of Pain who they are and they thank them.

ISPW owner Tommy Fierro came to the ring. He said that a year ago, he had the best convention that he ever did but his father passed away six days later. He promised himself he would do the biggest convention of all time in honor of his dad and thanked his dad for everything.
ISPW Championship Rumble
There will be new competitors every two minutes. Elimination by over the top rope.
The first two competitors were HC Loc and Tony Devito, so the Carnage Crew were against each other. They teased fighting but didn't really do so, running down the clock. Next out was Tommy Grayson of the Nu Backseats, who they worked over. Number four was JP Grayson of the Nu Backseats, with Johnny Kashmere. So, now it was traditional tag team fighting. The ring began to fill up. I don't know the names of many of these talents, so I apologize. Rey Calitri was the victor.
ISPW Women's Champion Tina San Antonio (with Maven Huffman) vs. Gabby Ortiz vs. Vicious Vicki vs. Adena Steele vs. Notorious Mimi
Tina bailed out at the bell, leaving the four babyface challengers to fight amongst themselves. Vicki scored the pin and became the champion after defeating Steele. The action was solid but with so many talents involved, way too frenetic to cover properly.
Crowbar vs Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Good action to start. Smith nailed a long delayed vertical suplex. They battled to the floor where Smith pressed Crowbar over his head and back into the ring. He maintained control with a series of right hands but was run into the buckles, where Crowbar worked over his lower back and kidneys. Crowbar pulled him to the ring post and smacked his knee against the post several times.
Crowbar worked over the leg and scored several two counts. Smith kicked him off, sending Crowbar to the floor. He went after Crowbar but was snapped throat-first on the ropes. Crowbar nailed a neckbreaker across the ropes and then choked him against the ropes, almost getting DQ'd. He nailed a slingshot splash into the ring for a two count. Smith battled back and backdropped Crowbar out of a piledriver attempt. He ran Crowbar into the buckles over and over, then rained down with a series of right hands.
They battled back and forth. Crowbar nailed a series of rights but was whipped into the buckles. He tried to go up and over but was caught and nailed with the Bulldog powerslam over the shoulder for a close two count, but he got his foot on the ropes. The referee argued with Crowbar's manager Vanessa, allowing him to low blow and pin Smith.
Your winner, Crowbar!
Shawn Donovan came to the ring to induct the late Chris Candido into the ISPW Hall of Fame. Donovan ran down Candido's career. He introduced Jonny Candido. He said he's proud of his brother and is humbled by his induction. He said his brother always wanted to leave a mark on the business and now, 18 years after he passed, Jon says he'd succeeded. He talked about Chris promoting and running shows as a teenager. He said that he and his family so appreciate the award and the honor. It was a truly nice moment.
ISPW Champion Bull James with Maven Huffman vs. Rick Recon with Dave LaGreca.
The Guest referee is Ace Darling.
Former New York Giant Jay Alford was the special enforcer.
Maven cut a promo, telling Alford that now that XFL was back, he has a chance to try and be important again. He said Recon reminded him of Ukraine, bombed out.
Maven was handcuffed to LaGreca at ringside.
They locked up and Bull shoulderblocked Recon down. Recon came back and sent Bull to the floor, nailing a sliding kick. He worked over Bull outside with a series of rights. Bull pulled him up on his shoulders and slammed him onto the railing. He worked over Recon on the floor and brought him back into the ring, ripping at his face. Recon tried to sunset flip Bull, who dropped down on his chest, scoring a two count.
They battled back and forth. A door was brought into the ring. Darling was accidentally nailed by Recon and went down. Recon speared Bull. He went to gio to the ropes but Maven grabbed at him. Alford nailed Maven and then speared Bull through the door. Recon nailed a flying elbow off the top but there was no referee. Darling finally counted and Bull got his shoulder up at the last second. Recon nailed another but Darling was recovering....until he turned heel and hit Recon. Alford chased Darling to the back.
Bull covered Recon. Another referee ran out but Recon got his shoulder up at the last second. Maven placed another door inside the ring. Bull bridged it across the ropes in the corner. Recon caught him with a Pedigree and went to the top. Maven went to distract him but was nailed. Recon dove off the top but was caught and powerbombed through the door and pinned.
