OK, enough with the exclamation points!

Happy May the 4th everyone!

OK, sorry for that last exclamation point.

Moose & Brian Myers vs. Yuya Uemura & Bhupinder Gujjar.

Gujjar and Myers start out with Gujjar controlling him.  Yuya and Gujjar double-team Myers and score a near fall.  Moose tagged in and blocked a hiptoss.  He sent Yuya into the corner but missed a charge.  Yuya nailed a kick that sent him to the floor.  Myers was tossed over the top onto Moose.  Gujjar and Yuya nailed stereo dives.

Moose  changed the momentum by snapping Yuya's throat across the top rope.  Myers attacked him on the floor and tossed him back in for a two count.  Myers locked on a reverse chinlock.  Myers went for the Roster Cut but Yuya cut him off and nailed an overhead suplex.  Moose and Gujjar tagged in.

Gujjar cleaned house and nailed a spinebuster for a two count.  Moose was kicked off during a charge but Gujjar missed the Gargoyle spear.  Moose missed a spear and was nailed with a Slingblade for a two count with Myers breaking up the pinfall attempt.  Yuya was hit with a faceplant.  Gujjar nailed a springboard into a kick but Moose speared Gujjar for the pin.

Your winners, Moose & Brian Myers!

Gia Miller interviewed Steve Maclin, Shera and Champagne Singh.  He said that his alliance with them is tactical.  He knows what it's like to have shots coming at you from all directions.  Maclin said there isn't a person in Impact dumb enough to team with PCO tonight.

We review the aftermath of Santino being attacked and Dirty Dango declaring himself Detective of Authority.  He has a conspiracy board trying to figure out who attacked Marella.  He said a name and Joe Hendry appeared.    Dango thinks it was Mike Tenay. Hendry points out Trey Miguel was put in a Triple Threat match and threatened Santino before the first attack.  Dango declared Hendry his best friend.  Hendry said he would go get Trey.

Sami Callihan came to the ring.  The Design came out.  Deaner told him that when Sami smashed him in the face with a bat, it was the biggest mistake of his life.  The crowd chanted that he deserved it.  Deaner said the fans were wrong and they were giving Sami a false sense of hope.  He said that Sami can't finish the challenge that stands before him.  The Design entered the ring.  He didn't accept a challenge to face Deaner, but one to fight Kon.  Kon attacked and chokeslammed him.  Callihan said he could go and they rang the bell.

Sami Callihan vs. Kon

Kon controlled but Sami used his momentum against him to send Kon to the floor.  He went for a dive but Kon moved.  Sami went to the apron but Kon attacked him and knocked him to the floor.  Kon nailed a running clothesline as they went to commercial.  When they returned, they were back in the ring, where Kon slammed Sami and nailed a big legdrop for a near fall.

Kon used a bearhug from behind, trying to squeeze Callihan into a submission.  Callihan tried to fight back but began to fade.  He fought back and nailed several right hands but was squeezed again.  Sami finally went to the eyes to break the hold.  They slugged it out.

Kon massacred Callihan with a series of clubbing blows but was caught with a DVDR as Kon charged.  Callihan went for the Cactus Piledriver but The Design interfered.  The referee interceded so Callihan lowblowed Kon with a kick.  Sami dared Deaner to enter the ring.  He got on the apron but Callihan was attacked by all the Cultists, who began beating him.  Deaner called them off and said this was payback.  Deaner nailed him with a bat to the face.

Backstage, Trey Miguel denied he was involved in the attack on Santino Marella.  Trey said it made more sense Dango attacked him.  Hendry checked Trey for missing hair.

Jimmy Jacobs interviewed Nick Aldis backstage.  Aldis said things move fast.  He said there's been questions about his intentions and when he'll fight Maclin for the title.  He said that he stated his intentions were to be in the hunt, not to just walk into a title match.  Kenny King showed up and questioned whether Aldis was here to do the work or not.  Aldis challenged him but King blew him off and said he needs to earn a match with King.

Jody Threat vs. Alesha Edwards

Threat started off strong until being caught in the ropes.  Threat was snapped back to the ring and drilled into the mat face-first several times.  Threat kicked out but was sent into the buckles face-first.  The crowd started to chant for Threat to make a comeback.    Edwards kept working her over but Threat fought back from underneath.  Edwards was caught in the ropes and Threat drilled her with a double knee strike to the back, then a German suplex. Threat nailed a F5 for the pin.

Your winner, Jody Threat!

Gia Miller interviewed The Motor City Machine Guns.  Chris Sabin wants to win the X-Division title so Alex Shelley i going to gun for the World title.

They aired part two of the Frankie Kazarian sit-down interview.  It was tremendous.

Impact Wrestling Champion Steve Maclin & Champagne Singh & Mahabali Shera vs. PCO and two partners of his choice

The partners are Rhino and Heath Miller.

PCO started with Champagne Singh.  PCO was in control early, stomping away at him.  Rhino tagged in but Singh took control, nailing him with a series of rights.  Rhino came back to nail a shoulderblock in the corner and tagged in Heath, who came off the top with a leaping axehandle.  Miller worked him over but was drilled from the outside by Shera.

Shera tagged in and pounded Miller.  Maclin, who had tagged out at the onset of the bout, tagged in and mauled Miller.

Miller endured the beating and caught the champ with a powerslam.  He tagged in PCO, who worked over Shera and Singh as Maclin retreated to the floor.  PCO nailed a DDT on Singh and followed up with a tope con hilo to the floor.  PCO tossed him back into the ring and went to the top for the Deanimator, nailing it.

Shera and Singh double-teamed PCO and went to tie him to the tree of woe, but he escaped and went after Maclin, who turned right into a Gore on the floor.  PCO hits a moonsault on Singh for the pin.

Your winners, PCO & Rhino & Heath!

The Coven are playing with their Tarot cards somewhere.  Deonna and Jordynne will disappear when the candle they light disappears.

The Death Dollz approach Jim Mitchell about not being able to return to the Undead Realm to rescue Taya.  Mitchell says it's not the Coven.  He can come and go as he pleases.  He invites them to come with him.  Rosemary wants to know what he wants.  She makes a deal to return while Jessicka stands guard.

Jonathan Gresham vs. Speedball Mike Bailey

The usual very good and entertaining back and forth wrestling early on.  Bailey hits a glancing dropkick and locks on an armbar, controlling Gresham as he worked over the shoulder and arm.  Gresham fought back and they traded moves as the crowd went back and forth with dueling chants.

They went into a test of strength and battled for positioning.  Gresham gained control and began manipulating Bailey's wrist and fingers, almost scoring a three count.  Gresham used a La Magistral, scoring a two count.  They went back and forth.  Bailey scored with some kicks and a dropkick.   Lots of nice back and forth pinfall reversals.  Bailey unloaded with a series of kicks.  Gresham went to the apron, where he was drilled with a foot to the face.  He held onto the ropes and was drilled with a knee strike.  Gresham crashed to the floor, where Bailey followed up with a moonsault to the floor.

When Impact returned, Gresham was draped over the ropes.  Bailey ascended to the top and nailed a big knee strike.  He covered Gresham for a near fall.   They continued to battle back and forth and it was excellent pure professional wrestling as a chess game between two competitors.  Really fun stuff.    Gresham kept going back to the left arm, wearing down Speedball.  Bailey fired back with body shots from his right arm but Gresham struck the left again.  Bailey went to the kicks for his offensive maneuvers.  Gresham locked on the Octopus and scored the submission.

Your winner, Jonathan Gresham!

Great match.

Backstage, Steve Maclin wanted to know how Scott D'Amore was going to handle what happened tonight.  Scott books Maclin defending the title against Rhino next week.

Sami Callihan went to Rich Swann and said Swann owes him one and needs him against The Design.  Sami asked if he's going to help him or not and walked off.

Trinity came out.  They gave her a big entrance with lots of fans carrying glow sticks.  She said she felt good to be in the ring and in a place she can glow.  She has officially arrived in Impact Wrestling.  She said the company has the most storied women's division in wrestling and began naming members of the Knockouts division, including Deonna Purrazzo, Mickie James and Jordynne Grace.  She said fans have seen her win titles but she's here to win more.  She told the locker room to get ready, because she's the brightest star and she's here to win.  The crowd chanted for her.

Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo came out and said since Trinity invoked her name and her title, Deonna wanted to come out and be the first to welcome her to Impact.  She said Trinity has done her homework and knows this is the place to be but that means she knows she's walked into the New Age of the Virtuosa.  She said she knows what it's like to walk into a new place and she hopes that Trinity gets a title shot, but if she steps into the ring with her, that's not something she can just "walk out on."

Trinity said when they get in the ring, Deonna will wish she had just been fired, referencing her NXT release.

Jordynne Grace came out before it got more heated between the two.  Grace said everyone probably wants to see them wrestle but she doesn't need to remind Deonna they already have a rematch at Under Siege.  She doesn't plan to lose to Deonna again.  If Trinity wants to fight her, go ahead but if she wanted a title shot, find Jordynne because as of the PPV, the title is hers.

Grace and Deonna got into each other's faces.  Trinity said they have business to handle at the PPV and Trinity will be waiting for the person who walks out as champion.

Trinity danced up to the entrance stage.

A good ending and a good debut.
