ABC's The Goldbergs will close out its tenth and final season tonight.
Over the course of its run, the series featured many homages and references to professional wrestling.
WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg regularly appeared as Coach Mueller.
There were entire episodes devoted to family members Murray, Adam and Barry going to Wrestlemania with cameos from Hulk Hogan and Carlito Colon.
Another devoted to Barry joining the school's amateur wrestling team, not realizing it wasn't going to be professional wrestling. That episode was dedicated to the late Ultimate Warrior with his wife Dana and daughters making a cameo. Goldbergs creator Adam Goldberg noted at the time that Warrior was his favorite professional wrestler.
The series regularly featured WWF toys from the 1980s in the background of Adam's bedroom and references aplenty to names like Andre the Giant, Roddy Piper and Huilk Hogan.
The series was absolute magic in its best days and those working on it were obviously tried and true pro wrestling fans.
