I want to preface this by saying that I have never met Tony Khan. I have never said a word to Tony Khan. Tony Khan has never said a word to me. I have one way to convey my message to him, on my terms, and that is through this site.
Despite what some people think, maybe even Tony himself, I have nothing against AEW. I offer critiques that I think could help them become more successful and reach a larger audience. Since I am as passionate of a fan as Tony is, with a different view of what makes for the perfect mix to draw an audience, our views differ. That doesn't make me anti-AEW, and if he had a view on me, it shouldn't be anti-me, either.
What I have learned through my six plus decades is that you learn more from smart people who don't share your view than you do from smart people that do. With that said, I tweeted this earlier today. Tony, please, you have a huge opportunity to grab some fans willing to give you a chance. Don't push them away. Embrace them.
We are at a vital point in the history of the business and I am rooting for you to close the gap and raise all of the proverbial boats higher. You have the means. You have the power. Please do it, it's what best for everyone.
OK, one more piece of unwanted advice for @TonyKhan. You sold over 30K tickets today. That is the story. Fans in play are out on the ledge again due to Vince being more hands on. Ignore tweet spats. Focus on getting those ledge fans to invest in your product. Sell out Wembley.
