Holliday returned to the ring last night for the first time since June 23, 2022 at Beyond Wrestling’s “Thirty.” Holliday has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma since last year.
During the main event between The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson, Brett Ryan Gosselin & Alec Price) vs. Miracle Ones (Ichiban, Kylon King & Dustin Flash Waller), Holliday teased coming to the aid of the Stetson Ranch, only to help the Miracle Ones, which got a big pop from the live crowd.
Holliday spoke at length about his positive mindset to help him fight. He then expressed gratitude for Beyond Wrestling helping him get through the passing of his father back in 2020, and said when this all started, Beyond was the only place he wanted to make his return. He also praised Kylon King and Dustin Waller, because back when Holliday was a trainer at Paradise Alley Pro Wrestling in Connecticut, they were two of his students. He also praised Ichiban, who would come train with him on occasion, as an incredible talent. The replay is available on IWTV.
Holliday, 30, was originally trained by Paul Roma at Paradise Alley. His MLW deal expired while in the midst of his battle to regain his health.
PWInsider.com sends our hugest congratulations to Holliday for his return to the ring.
