The third edition of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will open theatrically worldwide today.
The film will feature the return of Dave Bautista as Drax in what is expected to be his final appearance as the cosmic character. Bautista has played Drax in six previous Marvel productions.
The official plot - "Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them."
The film is expected to be a massive hit for Marvel Studios.
Note: I saw an advance screening a few hours ago and as a fan of both the comic book and the film franchise, it's a hell of a finale for this version of the team and all of the cast. I can't recommend it enough.
