4/29/23 Results from New Japan’s Wrestling Satsuma No Kuni from Kagoshima, Japan,
1 - Boltin Oleg and Toru Yano vs. Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI
Bishomon hits Shoto on Oleg.
YOSHI-HASHI pins Oleg.
2 - Shota Umino and Oskar Leube vs. Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL, with SHO and Dick Togo
Togo chokes Oleg while EVIL distracts the referee. SHO hits Oleg with his wrench. Yujiro hits Pimp Juice.
Yujiro pins Oleg.
When Umino was in the ring, he fought all four House of Torture members and they sold for him. They are building Umino to be the future babyface of the company.
3 - Aaron Henare, TJP and Francesco Akira vs. Tomoaki Honma, Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA
TJP had a bandage above his left eye from the prior title match.
Hanare catches Honma coming off the ropes and applies Ultima.
Honma taps out.
4 - Great O-Khan and Jeff Cobb vs. Kosei Fujita and Zack Sabre Jr.
Fujita was pushing O-Khan before the match wanting to fight him. At the end of the match, O-Khan hit an Iron Claw Sleeper Suplex on Fujita which looked wicked. O-Khan trapped Fujita in a Sheep Killer.
Fujita tapped out.
5 - Ryohei Oiwa, Togi Makabe, Tomohiro Ishii and Kazuchika Okada vs. Yuto Nakashima, Ren Narita, El Desperado and Minoru Suzuki
Narita forces Oiwa to tap out to a Cobra Twist.
After the match, Ishii and Desperado continued to fight. Narita had words with Okada. Big brawl. Strong Style kept trying to beat down Ishii. Suzuki took the mic and talked trash to Okada and Ishii who had no third partner to challenge them for the NEVER Openweight 6-man Titles.
6 - Taiji Ishimori, KENTA, David Finlay, and Gedo vs. Master Wato, Hikuleo, Tama Tonga, and Jado.
Tama hits a Gun Stun and pins Gedo.
After the match, Finlay attacks Tama and KENTA beats down Hikuleo.
7 - BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito vs. DOUKI, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and SANADA, with TAKA Michinoku
SANADA forces BUSHI to tap out to Skull End.
8 - IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Shane Haste and Mikey Nichols vs. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis
Both teams were even until TMDK took the match to the floor. Fletcher got thrown over the guardrail and TMDK double teamed him. TMDK wrestled like heels, cheating when the referee’s back was turned and kept Davis in his corner. Fletcher tags in Davis and he uses his power to hammer both TMDK. Nichols and David exchange strikes. Nichols with a Death Valley Driver. Davis with a over the head belly to belly suplex. Both hit lariats. Fletcher and Haste exchange strikes. Fletcher with a sleeper suplex. Haste with a suplex slam. All four men battle in the ring. They trade kicks and elbows. Aussie Open hit a version of the Tank Buster on Haste. Two count. Aussie Open miss a double lariat. Haste hits a sit down powerbomb on Davis. Two count. TMDK with a trip and lariat on Davis. Two count. Davis blasts Nichols with a lariat. Two count. Pace picks up.
TMDK double slaps Fletcher and hits their version of Corealis. Two count. All men start punching and kicking. Davis gets backdropped on the ring apron. TMDK hits a Tank Buster on Fletcher on the ring apron. They hit another Tank Buster on Fletcher in the ring. Davis breaks up the count. TMDK try for Thunder Road but Fletcher reverses into a double DDT. Davis sends Nichols to the floor. Aussie Open hits a double lariat on Haste. Then follow with Corealis.
Fletcher pins Haste.
Aussie Open retain the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
After the match, all four men shake hands.
Bishomon comes to the ring. House of Torture hit the ring and attack everyone. EVIL and Yujiro hold the Tag Belts. The rest of United Empire hit the ring and House of Torture escapes.
House of Torture and Bishomon look to be future challengers. And a possible 3-way title match.
9 - KOPW Provisional Championship: Shingo Takagi vs. Taichi
Whoever earns three different kinds of wins will be the champion.
The match begins with strikes and attacks. They battle to the floor and almost get counted out. Taichi goes for a Gedo Clutch but Takagi reverses into one of his own. Two count. Takagi grabs Taichi in a Cobra Twist and cradles him.
Takagi pins Taichi.
Takagi earns a win by pinfall.
Takagi: 1
Taichi: 0
The battle to the ring apron and Takagi hits a Death Valley Driver. Taichi avoids a two count. Takagi grabs Taichi but Taichi reverses into a Gedo Clutch.
Taichi pins Takagi.
Taichi earns a win by pinfall.

Taichi: 1
Takagi charges at Taichi throws a high kick to the head. Taichi hit two stiff kicks to the face. Taichi hits a Dangerous Backdrop. Both men are down. The referee counts to seven and both men get to their feet. They trade strikes and Taichi throws a high kick. Taichi with a Last Ride. Taichi hits Black Mephisto. Takagi could not back to his feet till the referee counted to 10.
Taichi earns a win by knock out.

Taichi applies a Stretch Plumb. Takagi gets to the ropes. Takagi hits Made in Japan. They get to their feet and trade lariats. Takagi hits a Piledriver and throws a massive Pumping Bomber. Taichi stirs but Takagi throws a sliding elbow and hits Last of the Dragon. The referee begins to count. Taichi is at his knees by 8. But collapsed at 10.
Takagi earns a win by KO.

Takagi goes for a superplex. Takagi hits a Death Valley Driver off the top rope. Ouch! Takagi hammers Taichi with elbows and grabs him in a sleeper. Taichi is fading. Takagi switches to a Cobra Twist. Kanemaru was about to throw in the towel but his teammates stopped him. Taichi gets to the ropes. Taichi rolls to the outside. Referee begins the count. Takagi stops the count and drags Taichi back in the ring. He goes for Made in Japan but both are too tired and collapse to the mat.
They get to their feet. Taichi absorbs a Pumping Bomber. Taichi hits another Dangerous Backdrop and a high kick. Taichi throws a Yokozuna Elbow and knocks Takagi to the floor. Taichi also falls to the floor. The referee begins the count out. Both men make it back in at 19.
They trade strikes. Takagi connects with a headbutt. They trade elbows. Taichi hits a superkick to the jaw. Taichi locks in a Stretch Plumb. Taichi lets the hold go because of exhaustion. Takagi is almost passed out. Taichi hits another high kick. And a third. Taichi locks on the Stretch Plumb again. Taichi wrenching in the hold. Takagi is limp. Hiromu holds the towel and is begging Takagi to fight on. Takagi is not responding to the referee
The referee calls the TKO win for Taichi.
The referee calls the match.
Taichi earns a win by TKO.

Taichi: 3
Taichi wins the KOPW Provisional Championship.
Both factions rush into the ring to check on their teammates.
Wow, this was a fun match! Anytime Taichi and Takagi face each other for this belt, they will not disappoint.
For Just Five Guys, they are doing well so far. I hope DOUKI does well in the BOSJ 30 which will solidify this faction as a powerful one.
Taichi gets the mic and thanks Takagi for the match
SANADA and Kanemaru pick up Taichi on their shoulders.
