It is time for AEW Rampage, which was recorded after Dynamite at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, FL. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Jim Ross, and Tony Schiavone.
Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and Juice Robinson) vs Ricky Starks and Shawn Spears
When Starks comes out, he runs to the ring with Spears following him and they go on the attack as the bell rings. All four men brawl at ringside. Starks and Juice go into the ring and Starks chops down Juice in the corner as Spears pulls White off the apron. Spears tags in and gets a one count. He and Starks tag quickly in and out, keeping Juice in their corner.
Juice is able to get a leg lariat after being tossed into the ropes. Spears is knocked out of the ring and Jay White slams him on the apron as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Spears has been trapped in Bullet Club’s corner. White is methodically working him over with chops, and Spears is able to get a couple of chops until White hits a drop kick to Spears’ knee and then covers for two. White keeps him down with a side headlock. Spears is able to get a reversal into a suplex on White and crawls to his corner for the hot tag.
Starks and Juice are tagged in and Starks cleans house. Starks gets a northern light driver on Juice and White attacks, but is tossed to the outside. Juice is put on the top ropes and a blind tag is made. Starks hits a super plex and Spears gets a dive into a two count. Spears goes for a Death Valley Driver, but Juice goes for the eye to escape. White tags in and is brought up, but White escapes and has to take a sky high for two, broken up by Juice.
Juice is tossed to the outside where Starks leaps onto him. In the ring, Spears gets a kick on White and gets him into the fireman’s carry, but White escapes and hits the Blade Runner for the pin and the win.
Winners: Bullet Club Gold
After the match, Ricky Starks is beating down Juice in the ring, and Juice basil out of the ring to avoid the spear from Starks.
In the back, Lexi is with Hook and the Hardys. Matt says that The Firm is behind Isaiah Kassidy being missing. Stokely Hathaway then shows on a screen and shows that the Firm has Kassidy on a scaffold, and the match is next Friday, they will let him go. Matt says it is next Friday and they drop Kassidy off the scaffold. As they take off to help Kasidy, Hook says The Firm is getting deleted.
Naturally Limitless (Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee) vs Already In The Ring (Brady Peirce and Charlie James)
Keith and Dustin dominate, and at point point, Lee tosses Dustin to the two opponents. Lee wins with a spirit bomb and a pin.
Winners: Naturally Limitless
Swerve Strickland and the Embassy come onto the stage. Keith and Dustin motion to them to come to the ring, but they stay on the stage.
Lexi was with Sammy Guevara and asked him about MJF leaving him at the building on Wednesday. Tay Melo interrupts and says that MJF is not his friend. She tells him he always wanted to be champion, but now he will lay down for MJF, why? She tells him it’s his turn to listen.
Anna Jay A.S. vs The Already In The Ring Ashley D’Amboise
They lockup and Anna forces Ashley to the corner and gets a kick before whipping Ashley to the other corner. Ashley goes up and over when Anna charges and takes Anna down with an arm drag. Ashley gets a second arm drag and holds on as they get up. Ashley gets a series of shoulcers in the corner and a hammer thrown into the corner. Anna dodges a charge and hits a pendulum kick. She then stretches Ashley around the ring post as we go to picture in picture.
When we come back to full screen, Anna gets a neck breaker. She then locks in the Queenslayer and Ashley taps out.
Winner: Anna Jay A. S.
The lights go out and when they come back on, Julia Hart attacks Anna from behind and drives her to the floor. They brawl on the floor and Anna is able to get the upper hand and stretches Julia around the ringpost.
The referees break it up.
In the back, The Outcasts respond to Britt on Dynamite and they say that they talk tough but can’t walk the walk. Saraya says she will walk Willow Nightingale like a dog on Dynamite.
The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn vs Cameron Strewart and two unnamed guys. Oh, and they are already in the ring.
One of the men in the ring tries to charge during the rap and gets taken out quickly. A second member of the team is taken out when Bowen gets in the ring.
Cameron tries to join in the scissoring, and Gunn clotheslines him and then hits a Famouser. Then the Arrival and a Mic Drop for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn
Finally, it’s time for the main event. Jay Lethal reminds us that Jarrett beat Dax Harwood and he will beat Cash tonight.
Jay Lethal vs. Cash Wheeler with Mark Briscoe at ringside as special enforcer
Jay avoids the lockup and rolls out of the ring. Jay hugs Mark Briscoe and then gets back in the ring, and Jay takes a swing at Cash and misses. They lock up in the corner and Jay is able to get a series of right hands in the corner while Cash is able to retaliate with chops. After they battle more, Jay gets a pair of scoops and slams. Cash is able to get a hip toss and then an arm drag takedown and holds onto the arm.
Jay is able to get a knee to the midsection as Cash comes off the ropes. Jay tries for the Lethal Injection, and Cash avoids it and gets a drop kick. Cash gets a big back body drop. Cash then clotheslines Jay to the floor as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Jay has Cash in an octopus stretch. Cash fights his way out and gets tossed to the corner. Jay slaps it back on. Jay sneaks close to the ropes so Sonjay Dutt can grab his hand, but Mark pulls Sonjay off the apron. Cash is able to get a hip toss. Jay tries to lock it on again, and instead Cash rolls him for a two count.
Cash gets a second inside cradle for two. Jay is able to lift Cash and drop him on the top rope. Jay struts as Cash recovers and then goes to the top. Jay goes for the elbow and Cash puts the knees up. They run the ropes and Cash uses his feet to send Jay across the ring. Cash then throws hands on Jay. Cash gets a spinning power slam and follows with a DDT off the middle rope for two.
Cash sets up for a pile driver, but Jay escapes. Jay slams Cash for two, but Cash bridges up with Jay and tries again for a pile driver. Jay gets a back body drop and a Lethal Combination. Jay tries for the Lethal Injection, but Cash is able to turn and grabs Jay, holding him on his back. Cash then slammed Jay on his face.
Sonjey gets on the apron and Mark Briscoe gets on the apron to yell at him. Jay shoves Cash into Mark and then is able to get the Lethal Injection for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jay Lethal
