Is AEW really planning on have All In and All Out a week apart with both on PPV or is the Wembley show going to be a special event on cable tv?
The events will be a week apart. All Out will be on PPV. The company has not announced how the Wembley show will be made available to watch to the non-live crowd as of this writing.
Will WWE continue to refer to Roman Reigns as the undisputed champion? With a second world championship created, it is disputed now. Also, they now have three physical world titles and I think it can get confusing for the average fan so should they just drop one of Romans belts and leave just two? Do you think creative will address it or just ignore the whole thing.
They probably will keep calling him that but as you stated, he will be disputed now that there will be a new World Title. I don’t see the need for the new belt at all and in fact think it’s counterproductive and undoes a lot of the good that combining the old titles has done for the product.
One of your so-called competitors stated that when CM Punk showed up at Raw, the feeling in WWE was he was there looking for a job, but he couldn't confirm it. If he couldn't confirm it, then WWE obviously didn't comment or send a press release. Unless he talked to everyone in WWE, how could he say that "was the feeling"? Did everyone you talk to think that was the feeling why Punk was there?
I think I talk to smarter and/or more honest people than that reporter. The people I spoke with, before the details came out, just wondered what his motivation was. They know that Punk is under contract to AEW. They are also smart enough to know that if Punk really wanted to go to work for WWE, that is not how he would have gone about communicating with the company. But some reporters have an agenda so they don’t let the truth get in the way of how they skew things. They also probably talk to dumber people than I do.
The more that WWE brings up Roman's imminent 1000-day title reign, the more I'm inclined to believe that having him reach 1000 days as champion is a major reason why they didn't have Cody beat him at Wrestlemania. I feel like it has to be more than a coincidence at this point. Do you agree or disagree?
I don’t think that was the case at all. I think Roman won because they felt it was a better story to have him be the champion. My take is that Cody hadn’t gone through enough struggles and if Roman and The Usos lost, it would have really hurt the importance of The Bloodline. They may have felt the same way. In the end, WWE wanted to keep that story going, and I totally get why. It’s their top draw.
Now that they have introduced the new World Heavyweight Championship, it seems unlikely that they will treat Roman's belts as two separate championships that will be defended individually from now on. Is the plan for Roman to still carry the two belts, or are there plans to consolidate them into a single new belt, like what they did with the Undisputed championship belt in the 2000's?
I honestly don’t know what the plan is. My guess is that he will keep both belts since he did win them. If it were me, I would have him keep both.
