Episode 32: Even The Score
Amber Rodriguez vs Stephy Slays
They lock up and Amber shoves Slays to the corner and tosses her across the ring by her hair. Slays gets a drop kick and a hip toss for a tow count. Amber kicks Slays knee and gets in a series of blows. Amber helps Slays up and lays in chops in the corner. Amber then stands on Slays in the corner. Amber gets a snap mare and grabs a rear chinlock.
Amber then stands on Slays hair. Slays works her way up and tries for a cross body, but Amber catches her and hits a rib breaker into a one count. Amber puts Slays in a back breaker stretch and Slays is able to escape and get an arm drag and a series of clotheslines. Slays goes to the top and hits a flip on Amber for two.
Slays charges and Amber hits a drop toe hold into the turnbuckle. Amber grabs the back breaker stretch a second time and Slays turns it into a backslide for the pin and the win.
Winner: Stephy Slays
We get a recap showing how Leia Makoa, Tiki Chamorro and the Tonga Twins got into a feud with Lana Starr’s fabulous four.
We also see that Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag are trying to find their truck and make it back to WOW.
Coach Campanelli is wondering where her whistle is. Samantha Smart comes in with a whistle and says if they were smart, they would have hit the tag team champions with their own mirrors and not gotten caught. As Rand and Coach argue, Randi gets the whistle stuck in her mouth.
Coach Campinalli and Randi Rah Rah vs The Disciplinarian and GI Jane w/Samantha Smart
Remember, I call the Disciplinarian DC, because that’s too damn long to write every time and keep up with the match.
Randi still has the whistle in her mouth and Smart is carrying a container of glue.
Coach and Jane start off, they lock up and Jane shoves Coach down. They lock up again and Jane shoves Coach into the corner. The ref forces a break and Coach hits a Thesz press, and then grabs a headlock takedown. Jane pulls Coach back by her ponytail and locks on head scissors. Coach gets a waistlock and takes down Jane, and then hits a drop kick for two.
Jane nails Coach with forearms into the corner, but as Jane charges, she takes her down with an arm bar. Coach tags in Randi, but instead, Randy stays outside the ring and goes to Smart, probably to get glue remover. Coach gets a chin breaker on Jane and goes outside the ring to chase Randi.
DC blocks Randi from going after Smart. Randi gets in the ring and she tries to run the ropes but with the whistle stuck in her mouth, she’s blown up. Jane beats her down in the ropes and DC is tagged in. DC and Jane try to work her over, but Randi escapes and tags in Coach, who cleans house.
Coach gets a face crusher for two on DC. She drives DC into her corner and Randi tags in. She gets a snap mare on DC and was going to follow up, but when she runs at the ropes, Smart is on the apron. DC puts on a sleeper hold and DC holds Randi’s nose closed, and Randy passes out.
Winners: The Disciplinarian and GI Jane
Vivian Rivera and Sylvia Sanchez w/Sophia Lopez vs Americana and Jesse Jones
Jesse Jones comes to the ring on crutches. David says that she is not cleared to wrestle. He tells Sophia she has to choose which member of her tag team will fight Americana in a singles match.
Sylvia Sanchez vs Americana
They lock up and Americana slams Sanchez and then drop kicks her to the corner. Americana hits a handspring back elbow into the corner. Americana goes for a handspring off the ropes, but Vivian was on the apron and nails her in the back. As the ref is distracted, Vivian chokes Americana on the second rope. Sanchez then stones down Americana in the corner.
Sanchez hits a suplex and covers for two. She then gets a rear chinlock on Americana. Sanchez hits a spinning slam for two. Sanchez gets another rear chinlock. Americana breaks free and gets a snap mare for two. They run the ropes and Americana gets a series of clotheslines. Americana gets a springboard off the ropes into a cover, but the ref is distracted by Vivian. As that goes on, Sophia nails Jesse’s injured leg with her briefcase.
When Americana is checking on Jesse, Sanchez gets the most devastating move in all of professional wrestling, the surprise rollup for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sylvia Sanchez
The in ring work was just terrible in this one. Neither of them knew where they were supposed to be, each one hit the same moves over and over, and they didn’t look any better as they went along. I don’t watch WOW expecting a lot from the in ring work, but this was just awful.
The Mother Truckers have a video where they are still looking for their truck. They find their rig in Tennessee and are coming back to LA.
Leia Makoa, Tiki Chamorro, and The Tonga Twins (Kaoz and Kona) vs Vickie Lynn McCoy, Penelope Pink, and Miami Sweet Heat (Lindsey and Laurie Carlson w/Lana Starr
All 8 women brawl in the ring as soon as the bell rings. It finally becomes Tiki getting a sunset flip on Pink. Tiki snap mares the champ for two. Then we get Leia and Vickie and Tiki takes Vickie down with an arm bar. Laurie Carlson tags in and Kaoz gets a big boot. The Tonga Twins get a double suplex on Laurie. Linsey is able to tag in and it’s Kona attacking her.
Leia tags in and she is taken to the opposite corner and Lana Starr’s team tag in and out while attacking her. Leia starts to fight her way free and is able to break free and tag in Tiki, who gets slammed by Vickie. Vickie goes for a bear hug on Tiki and when Tiki escapes, Kona is tagged in.
Kona whips Vickie into the ropes and Kaoz comes into the ring so they can double slam Vickie as she comes off the ropes. Miami Sweet Heat comes into the ring to get back suplexes from the Tonga Twins. Pink goes for a cross body, but they catch her and give her a fall away slam. The Tonga Twins dodge a double clothesline from Vickie, who instead takes out Miami Sweet Heat.
The Tonga Twins hit the Tonga Twist on Vickie for the pin and the win.
Winners: Leia Makoa, Tiki Chamorro, and The Tonga Twins (Kaoz and Kona)
