We have a lot of stuff to look forward tonight but the SEMI-FINAL Matches of the Wrestling Open Championship is the highlight!
Spotlight Match: Dante Drago vs TJ Crawford
Dante almost gets his head kicked in but thinks he’s doing so well. He lands a chop and it’s WEAAAAAAAK. TJ is taking him apart mostly until he gets tripped in the corner. Tornado ddt off the ropes. Dante tries to wear him down. Snap powerslam for two. Dante is only getting twos and haaaaates it. Seriously, bro? He chokes TJ on the top rope…TJ right back with a lariat and drops him. Hard slaps, slingshot stunner, brain bustaahhh! Dante kicks out. TJ going for the finish but Drago rakes the eyes. TJ catches him with an atomic drop and Crawford finishes him with a shining wizard to the back of the head!
Winner: TJ Crawford
Match 1: Love Doug vs Lio Rush
This is such a BIZARRE matchup but let’s gooooooo! Doug has roses for Lio. Rush is here to WRESTLE. He drops them and drops Doug right into them. Doug trying to get into this but Lio is confidently taking our cupid around. Doug thinks he has an opening, Lio changes directly and bowls him over. Rush takes a moment to smell the flowers and doesn’t like what he finds. Handspring sends Doug to the floor, torpedo into the chairs! Lion with a spear for two! He’s impressed with Doug’s fight but just punishes him with hard kicks and shots to the head. Lio is unrelenting and is more than happy to give Doug more pain every time he refuses to stay down. Back elbow reversal! Torpedo to the floor! Doug is firing up! Bulldog, big boot, Michinoku driver for two! Doug goes for the rebound lariat, Lio hits a Spanish fly and the top rope Frogsplash for the win!
Winner: Lio Rush
Match 2: Notorious Mimi vs Layla Luciano
Welcome back Layla! Mimi pulls out of the Love Doug playbook and hits a prom pose? That’s not gonna help much. Layla just powering Mimi over. The shoulder blocks do nothing. Mimi caught out of the air to a backbreaker and slam. Spinning side slam for two won’t end it. More slams, Mimi is crying in pain. Mimi firing back and hits a X factor for two. Layla goes for the giant swing. Mimi has it scouted. She tries a rollup, Layla reverses to the swing…Mimi rolls it up again. Is Layla on the rope? Mimi gets the three but this angle made it look tricky. I could see this again.

Match 3: Mortar vs Rex Lawless (w/ RJ Rude)
Lawless and Rude make such an adorable big bro/little bro team. Brian Milonas is out here and immediately chokeslams Rude into the post. Rex eats a superkick! Mortar hits a F5 on Rude. Milonas with a corner splash and earthquake splash to Lawless and the ref has to throw this one out…but it looks like Mortar has his own big meaty man to bring to the fight.
Winner: Rex Lawless (by DQ)
Match 4: The Church of Greatness (Tyree Taylor & Anastasia Morningstar w/ Brother Greatness) vs Encore & Tiara James
The Wrecking Balls of the Church pray in the corner. Tyree tries to tell Tiara she doesn’t belong here. Encore wants a dance and Tyree realizes HE doesn’t belong here. Anastasia & Tiara try to get this match going. Tyree worth a blind tag and he body checks James in half. Anastasia with a huge facebuster for two. James stuns her way free, tag to Encore, he almost lifts Tyree! It’s not enough and Tyree double clotheslines them. Tyree and Anastasia hit stereo powerbombs for the win!

It’s time for a VERY SPECIAL SEGMENT: “B3CCA’s Sound Check”. She’s here to test her guitar. She uses poor Rich Palladino as a microphone stand. The power and lights start flickering? What’s happening?!? Becca knows this is intentional..but who is messing with her?!? She storms to commentary as Shannon LaVangie shows up and announces this is her “Light Extravaganza”. A troublemaker indeed.
It’s time for a tournament match! Ray Jaz interrupts and knows he should be in this tournament. He’s the uncrowned undefeated champion. He crowd does their damndest Pedro Dones is out here now to get in his face? He looks forward to Jaz Tips but he disagrees with Ray’s claim to glory. Dones reminds Jaz that HE has the call your shit contract. They decide to walk out together and discuss their options in the back. Whoever wins has a line waiting.
Match 5: Steven Stetson (w/ Alec Price) vs Ichiban
The semi-finals are here! Will Price’s presence be a factor tonight? Ichiban has his hand taped up and Stetson goes right for it. Ichiban trying to kick at the legs but Stetson is overpowering him early. Ichiban firing up and stetson sent out, Ichiban flames out on a dive and the big cowboy takes over. He Carries Ichiban around and throws big knees and a fallaway. Ichiban to the top? Stetson hits the ropes and power slams him down. Stetson just landing this big slams and suplexes but can’t get the job done. Stetson slips and gets posted! Roll up for two! Ichiban with a stunner! Handspring back elbow! Missile dropkick! Stetson catches the flatliner, Ichiban flips free to a superkick for two! A flurry of chest kicks..buzzsaw kick! Stetson tries to intercept but Ichiban off with a high cross body! Stetson rolls through! He swing Ichiban but blasts the ref! BRG is out here with a chain?!? Alec price stops him! Stetson tries to take out Price but runs into BRG! Ichiban with the roll up, the ref is up! Ichiban gets the three! Alec Price has turned on the ranch!!! Huge pop for this! Is he done

We’re supposed to have a tag match but Dustin Waller just stormed in and takes the mic, he has something on his mind? He’s been watching, and sees how next week, Wrestling Open crowns their first champ! But he also wants to defend THEIR titles…so they’ll be here and they want a test. They want them fight TWO TEAMS next week! Who will Mangey Frank decide to throw at them?
Match 6: Even Stevens (Steve Somerset & Steven Azure w/ Brother Greatness) vs Shook Crew (Bryce Donovan & Bobby Orlando)
Bobby wants to shake the ropes like a real warrior. The church doesn’t like that. Donovan is back to us and he devests and chops the Steves . This is a massacre. Bobby dabs and Somerset eats the point of that elbow! Orlando blindsided by Azure and the Steves take over. Bobby getting beat down. Superkick to a skull crushing finale for two. Orlando escapes, tag to Bryce and he’s overwhelming Azure and Somerset. Double stack splash in the corner! Corner dropkick into a double tree of woe?!? Owwwww. Bobby to the top and Shook hits the Virture Signal on Somerset for the win!
Winners: Shook Crew
Brother Greatness doesn’t look too pleased with the Steves. We’ve seen this play out before…the altar boys should watch their backs? Well, they should! But not for the reason I expected…Dezmond Cole blindsides them as BG screams and runs for help! Tyree and Anastasia hit the ring but Cole escapes out the SLADE door!
Main Event: Fancy Ryan Clancy vs Brad Hollister
Who will fill out the other half of the finals tonight? Fancy is a man possessed as he scrambles these bacon bits around the ring. Bacon looks like he’s gonna power up but Clancy keeps leveraging his center of balance and sending Hollister to the mat. Clancy with a splash to the arm! What a twist! Bacon pulling the hair, Fancy shoved him down. This is a new Ryan Clancy! Bacon looks completely flustered and shocked that he can’t get a move in! Bacon finally hits a rebound German and senton for two. Bacon should be laying in some punishment but he can’t help but taunt the crowd that HATES him. Clancy weathers the storm, fights free with a big slam! Dropkick! He goes for the side Russian but Brad fights it off. Clancy flies in but Brad knees him out of the air! Brad going for a powerbomb! Ryan reverses and hits one! Kick out! Fancy monkey flip! Bacon picks the leg and slaps on a sharpshooter! Clancy fights to the rope…Backn pulls him off and sits into it! Clancy powers up into a half crab! Brad almost taps? He gets the rope! Brad is pulling at the ring skirt, the ref is distracting…Brad takes the eyes! Pop up powerbomb for two! Brad rips off a turnbuckle in frustration! The ref prevents Brad from putting Ryan into the exposed steel. Brad threatens the ref! Clancy avoids that bad corner but they collide in a double cross body! Bacon rolls out but Clancy dives after him! He throws Bacon to the corner but Ryan gets caught with the jackhammer. That’s it? Clancy kicks out!!! We taunt Backn into doing a Cartwheel. HE DID ONE! Clancy pops up and hits the side Russian! Omg did we get him?!? Back gets a foot to the rope, this was a perfect false finish. Clancy unloading the clip and rolling Bacon around. OH NO BACON RUNS CLANCY’S FACE INTO THE EXPOSED BUCKLE NOOOOOO! Clancy is stunned and Bacon hits the jackhammer for the win. Nooooooooooo!
Winner: Brad Hollister
Brad reminds us that he was here to destroy our heroes. He’s excited for Ichiban next week. But he doesn’t want to wait?!? WE GOT A BRAWL, Y’ALL!!!!! Miracle Generation, TJ and Encore try to hold a Ichiban back but he flies through the curtain and attacks Hollister. We have a full on locker room emptying brawl! Bacon yells “You Got One Week!” as the show ends!
